Shalom,

Psalm 118 has 4 verses that contain the phrase "His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever". The KJV says simply "mercy". This is the Hebrew word "checed", which means: kindness; goodness; faithfulness; loving-kindness; steadfast love; grace; devotion. I like this from Vine's Expository Dictionary:

In general, one may identify three basic meanings of the word, which always interact: "strength," "steadfastness," and "love." Any understanding of the word that fails to suggest all three inevitably loses some of its richness.

There is such a fullness of the nature of God's love for us contained in that word! That is why the command in verse 29 is this:

29O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.

So be a DOER of that Word today! Give praise, thanksgiving and worship to the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible, for He deserves it! Amen! Here is an older song from Hillsong called "The Shout Of The King":

Shalom in Him!
