Shalom,

We want to look at some more verses today that talk about health and healing. We will look at Proverbs today:

Proverbs 4:20-23 (KJV)
20My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

The words, "my son", is the Hebrew word, ben, which means: a member of a group, children or a people or nation. The word "attend" is the Hebrew word, quashab, which means: to prick up the ears, to listen, to hear, to give or pay attention to. Our Father wants us to pay attention to His Word. He says here to "incline" our ears, which is the Hebrew word, natah, which means: to stretch out, to bend, to extend, to turn to. We need to direct our attention to His Word. We are told to "let them not depart" from our eyes. That is the Hebrew word, luwz, which means: to turn aside or be lost from view. Then He says to "keep" the word in our hearts. That's the Hebrew word, shamar, which means: to guard, to protect, to take care of. Why? Because His words are life to those that find them and "health", Hebrew, marpe', which means: healing, a cure, a remedy, deliverance, to ALL their flesh. Whose flesh? The ones who find His Word, pay attention to His Word, guard and protect His Word, keep it alive in their hearts, believe it, receive it and obey it!

Be one of those who does this and you will find yourself walking in health more than ever before! He IS the God who heals us!

Shalom in Him!
