Shalom,

I am also really inspired by today's "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers! Sometimes we have a wordly idea of love, even of the love of God!

The Spontaneity Of Love

Love suffereth long, and is kind.… — 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is not premeditated, it is spontaneous, that is, it bursts up in extraordinary ways. There is nothing of mathematical certainty in Paul’s category of love. We cannot say — “Now I am going to think no evil; I am going to believe all things.” The characteristic of love is spontaneity. We do not set the statements of Jesus in front of us as a standard; but when His Spirit is having His way with us, we live according to His standard with out knowing it, and on looking back we are amazed at the disinterestedness of a particular emotion, which is the evidence that the spontaneity of real love was there. In everything to do with the life of God in us, its nature is only discerned when it is past.

The springs of love are in God, not in us. It is absurd to look for the love of God in our hearts naturally, it is only there when it has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.

If we try to prove to God how much we love Him, it is a sure sign that we do not love Him. The evidence of our love for Him is the absolute spontaneity of our love, it comes naturally. In looking back we cannot tell why we did certain things, we did them according to the spontaneous nature of His love in us. The life of God manifests itself in this spontaneous way because the springs of love are in the Holy Ghost. (Romans 5:5.)

AMEN! We cannot just put on love for God and His Word. TRUE LOVE for God and His Word, which are one, comes from spending time with them! Joshua 1:8 tells THIS about our attitude towards His Word!

This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

AMEN!Our LOVE for HIM developes as we spend timein His presence, learning to LOVE what HE LOVES and HATE what HE HATES! I challenge you to take the time to make JESUS your #1 priority in all that you do and wherever you go! Your life will never be the same! The Graciousness Of Uncertainty

It doth not yet appear what we shall be. — 1 John 3:2

Naturally, we are inclined to be so mathematical and calculating that we look upon uncertainty as a bad thing. We imagine that we have to reach some end, but that is not the nature of spiritual life. The nature of spiritual life is that we are certain in our uncertainty, consequently we do not make our nests anywhere. Common sense says — “Well, supposing I were in that condition.…” We cannot suppose ourselves in any condition we have never been in.

Certainty is the mark of the commonsense life: gracious uncertainty is the mark of the spiritual life. To be certain of God means that we are uncertain in all our ways, we do not know what a day may bring forth. This is generally said with a sigh of sadness, it should be rather an expression of breathless expectation. We are uncertain of the next step, but we are certain of God. Immediately we abandon to God, and do the duty that lies nearest, He packs our life with surprises all the time. When we become advocates of a creed, something dies; we do not believe God, we only believe our belief about Him. Jesus said, “Except ye…become as little children.” Spiritual life is the life of a child. We are not uncertain of God, but uncertain of what He is going to do next. If we are only certain in our beliefs, we get dignified and severe and have the ban of finality* about our views; but when we are rightly related to God, life is full of spontaneous, joyful uncertainty and expectancy.

“Believe also in Me,” said Jesus, not — “Believe certain things about Me.” Leave the whole thing to Him, it is gloriously uncertain how He will come in, but He will come. Remain loyal to Him.

* “ban of finality”: the limitation or curse of having one’s mind made up; unwilling to consider new information.

We can always be certain that our God is FOR, us and that His promises are TRUE! How He fulfills them, and through whom, is the mystery that causes us to keep expectations open to whatever way HE desires to move on our behalf! Here is Hillsong Worship with "That's The Power":

Shalom,

We have been in Joshua for a couple of days in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan. I would like to look back to one of my very favorite Old Testament Scriptures! Joshua 1:8:

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

The entire purpose for us to be instructed with this is that obedience in this causes us to walk in greater Wisdom, understanding and POWER over all the works of the enemy! Put this intop practice today and watch your life be transformed! Here is Hillsong Worship with "That's The Power":

The Secret to Solomon’s Wisdom

Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours? 1 Kings 3:9

Let’s take a look at the life of Solomon. When Solomon became king, he was only a young man of about 18 years old and had big shoes to fill as David's successor to the throne. Solomon was not filled with wisdom when he first ascended the throne but he was clearly very earnest.

He went to Mount Gibeon, where the tabernacle of Moses was, to offer a thousand burnt offerings to the Lord. At Mount Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream and said, “Ask! What shall I give you?” (2 Chronicles 1:7).

Now, think about this for a moment. What would you have asked for if you were in Solomon’s position? Solomon did not ask for riches. Neither did he ask to be honored by all men. Instead, he told the Lord, “Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?" (2 Chronicles 1:10).

The Bible records that Solomon’s request “pleased the Lord” (1 Kings 3:10) and the Lord replied, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life—but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king—wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like” (2 Chronicles 1:11–12).

The Book of 1 Kings tells us that Solomon told the Lord, “Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” So when Solomon asked for wisdom and knowledge, he was asking for an understanding heart.

Let’s go deeper. The word “understanding” here is the Hebrew word shama, which means “to hear intelligently.” In other words, Solomon had asked for a hearing heart—one that hears from and flows with the leading of the Spirit of God, who leads us into all truth (John 16:13). You need a hearing heart for God's wisdom to flow through you in every aspect of your life!

I believe that the same request that pleased the Lord then still pleases Him today. God is pleased when we ask Jesus for wisdom. To ask Him for wisdom is to put ourselves in a posture of trusting and depending on His unmerited favor. Only the humble can ask Jesus for wisdom and a hearing heart.

Although Solomon only asked for wisdom, the Lord added “riches and wealth and honor” to him. Too many people are chasing riches, wealth, and honor, not realizing that they come through the wisdom of Jesus.

Even if someone were to come into sudden wealth, without the wisdom of Jesus to manage it, the money would be squandered away. But with the wisdom of Jesus, you won’t only be blessed, you will also be able to hold on to the blessings in your life.

Jesus makes you safe for good success that produces lasting and abiding fruit from generation to generation!

Shalom,

Today"s "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E. Hagin is so very important for every born again believer to KNOW!

Covenant Friend

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? — GENESIS 18:23-25

God refused to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah until He had talked it over with Abraham, His blood covenant friend!

Abraham’s prayer in Genesis chapter 18 is one of the most suggestive and illuminating prayers in the Old Testament. Abraham was taking his place in the covenant that God had made with him — the Old Covenant, the Old Testament.

Through the covenant, Abraham had received rights and privileges we understand little about. The covenant Abraham had just solemnized with the Lord Jehovah gave Abraham a legal standing with God. Therefore, we hear Abraham speak plainly as he intercedes for Sodom and Gomorrah, “Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

Confession: I have a covenant with God, the New Covenant. I have covenant rights and privileges. I have a standing with God. I commune with God. I use my covenant rights and privileges in prayer. I join forces with my Father in carrying out His will and plan upon the earth.

KNOW your COVENANT with Almighty God that was sealed with the Blood of JESUS! There is no aspect of your life on earth that isn't covered by it and THEN eternity with HIM! HALLELUJAH! Here is Brooke Ligertwood with "A Thousand Hallelujahs":

Today I want to share this from Jerry Savelle's daily devotional!

JUST PASSING THROUGH

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion. Passing through the Valley of [Baca] … (Psalm 84:5-6 AMP)

Psalm 84 talks of a place called the Valley of Baca. The Hebrew meaning of the word baca is “weeping, tears, or misery”—something we can all identify with. While times of sorrow are a certainty in life, the Valley of Baca is not a place where we are to linger. It is not a place where we should establish residence. It is a place that we are to pass through.

I don’t know what you may be going through today; I don’t know the difficult place you may be in. But whatever it is, you don’t have to stay there. You can choose to pass through your valley. Verse 7 of this Psalm 84 goes on to say of those who pass through, “They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power].”

Any time I find myself in the Valley of Baca, I purpose to keep my eyes on Jesus and stand firm on the Word of God. I can do this because I know I’m only passing through. I know that when I get to the other side, I’m going to increase in victorious power. Anything Satan may be trying to do to me is only going to add to my glorious testimony—glory to God!

Confession: I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I fix my eyes on Jesus as I stand on the Word of God, knowing that I go from strength to strength, increasing in victorious power.

AMEN! THIS is the way to stay in the center of God's will for you and to stay full of faith (God's Word) and full of power (Holy Spirit)! Here is Hillsong with "Not Today!":

Shalom,

Today I want to share from Kenneth and Gloria Copeland's "From Faith To Faith" devotional.

Inside Out

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Have you ever thought about the fact that man is the only creature God created who has to wear clothing to cover himself? All the other creatures grow their own coverings. Some grow fur, some feathers, others scales or leathery hide. But all are clothed from the inside out!

Most people don’t realize it, but in the beginning, man was clothed that way too. He was made in the image of God. And, if you’ll look in Ezekiel 8:2, you’ll find that God is clothed in fire from the loins up and from the loins down. That fire is His glory emanating outward from His innermost being.

When man was first created, he was like that too. He was covered with the very glory of God. It radiated from his inner being outward. That’s why he had no sense of nakedness until after he sinned and the glory departed from him.

It was a tragic day when man lost that glorious covering. But I want you to know something today. It’s not lost forever. The Word of God says we can gain it back.

You see, when you put your faith in the blood of Jesus and were born again, the glory of God once again took up residence in you. It may be well-hidden right now, but believe me, it’s in there.

And the Bible says that as you gaze into the Lord’s face by studying the Word and fellowshiping with Him, as you renew your mind to understand who you are in Christ, you’ll be changed into His image on the outside as well. As you learn to hear His voice and obey it, you’ll start giving outward expression of the glory within you. Little by little, you’ll be turned inside out!

Instead of simply staring into your closet every morning, spend some time gazing at Jesus and beholding His Word. Let Him clothe you in His radiant presence. Once His glory starts shining through, anything you wear will look beautiful on you.

AMEN! The people around you really WANT to see JESUS, they just don't realize it , YET! The more time YOU spend in intimate fellowship with HIM through HIS WORD and HIS SPIRIT, the more YOU will look like JESUS to others! THAT should be out ultimate goal. To be like HIM! Today's "Faith Food" by Kenneth E. Hagin is another great one!

Foundation

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. — 2 TIMOTHY 2:15

Someone who reads about how I took my authority over the spirits binding my brother might say, “I believe I’ll try that.” It won’t work if you try it. I didn’t just try it — I did it!

Just because someone sees a traffic policeman exercising his authority doesn’t mean they can run out in front of the cars and say, “I believe I’ll try that.” No one would obey them. Now, if they would put on a policeman’s uniform and put a whistle in their mouth, people would stop. They would recognize the authority behind the policeman.

Believers sometimes hear how someone else used their authority, and they think, I’ll try that because I heard him say it. It worked for him, so it will work for me. Satan knows they are not convinced of their authority, and when they try to act on God’s Word without really having the Word built into their spirits, and without having the solid foundation of it built into their lives, the devil will defeat them — and defeat them soundly.

But when you’ve built a foundation of the Word of God in you, and you act on God’s Word, you’ll defeat the devil in every combat!

Confession: I study to shew myself approved unto God. I build the truths of God’s Word into my life and spirit. I am convinced by God’s Word of my authority. I cannot be defeated. And the devil knows it!

KNOW the authority that YOU have from ALMIGHTY GOD by the Blood of JESUS! Now walk in it! Here is Hillsong with "Not Today":

The Light That Fails

We all with open face beholding…the glory of the Lord. — 2 Corinthians 3:18

A servant of God must stand so much alone that he never knows he is alone. In the first phases of Christian life disheartenments come, people who used to be lights flicker out, and those who used to stand with us pass away. We have to get so used to it that we never know we are standing alone. “All men forsook me:…notwithstanding the Lord stood with me” (2 Timothy 4:16-17). We must build our faith, not on the fading light, but on the light that never fails. When “big” men go we are sad, until we see that they are meant to go; the one thing that remains is looking in the face of God for ourselves.

Allow nothing to keep you from looking God sternly in the face about yourself and about your doctrine, and every time you preach see that you look God in the face about things first, then the glory will remain all through. A Christian worker is one who perpetually looks in the face of God and then goes forth to talk to people. The characteristic of the ministry of Christ is that of unconscious glory that abides. “Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him.”

We are never called on to parade our doubts or to express the hidden ecstasies of our life with God. The secret of the worker’s life is that he keeps in tune with God all the time.

I love this because the focus is on our intimate fellowship with the ONE who loves us MOST! HE desires our presence! He longs to reveal Himself to us! Make sure that YOU are giving HIM first place in your life, which means to set time with Him BEFORE you schedule anything else! THEN you will TRULY begin to KNOW HIM! HALLELUJAH! A Picture of a Blessed Man

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7–8

Let’s look at some of the pictures that the Bible paints for us in Jeremiah 17. God’s Word is amazing. He speaks to us through word pictures and imagery in the Bible.

For example, Jeremiah 17:5–6 paints us a picture of a cursed man—“a shrub in the desert.” What a dismal image of a man! A person who is always trusting in himself is like a dried-up shrub, looking old, tired, and haggard.

But thank God the Bible didn’t just stop with the description of the cursed man. It goes on to paint a beautiful picture of a blessed man: “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.”

Wow! I know which man I would rather be. Truly, a picture is worth more than a thousand words! I want you to see yourself as this tree planted by the waters today!

When I was on vacation with my wife, Wendy, in the breathtaking Canadian Rockies, we spent a lot of time just roaming around and soaking in the splendor of our heavenly Father’s creation. As we wandered along the bank of a tranquil river that we chanced upon, we found a majestic tree anchored by the water’s edge. Its trunk was sturdy and strong, and its branches stretched out to form a perfect canopy above it. In contrast to the other trees that were further away from the river, its leaves were refreshingly green and luscious. This was because the tree was constantly nourished by the river.

Looking at that impressive, beautiful tree, I couldn’t help but recall the blessed man described in Jeremiah 17, and I remember saying to myself then, “I am like this tree in Jesus’ name!” When you depend on and trust in the Lord, you are like this tree too.

Jesus will cause you to be a picture of robust strength, vitality and good success. See yourself like a beautiful tree planted by the waters. God’s Word says that even when heat comes, you will not fear it!

Did you notice a crucial difference between the blessed man and the cursed man? While the cursed man cannot see good when it comes (Jeremiah 17:6), the blessed man will not fear even when heat comes!

The King James Version says that the blessed man “shall not see when heat cometh.” This is amazing. It means that heat comes even to the blessed man but he is not conscious of seasons of heat, but continues to be strong and to flourish. He will be like a tree whose leaf continues to be green.

When you are like the blessed man, you will be evergreen! This means that you will enjoy divine health, youthfulness, vitality, and dynamism.

When you are blessed, your body will be full of life as the Lord renews your youth and vigor. Your health will not fail you nor will you lose your youth. There will be no stress, fear, and panic attacks because the blessed man “will not be anxious in the year of drought.”

A year of drought speaks of a severe famine, and in our modern vernacular, it would be no different from the global financial meltdown, the subprime crisis, the collapse of global investment banks, the volatile stock markets, and rising inflation. While it may be bad news for the world, the blessed man can remain at rest and not be anxious because God has promised that even in the midst of a crisis, he will not “cease from yielding fruit.”

Beloved, be the blessed man who puts his trust in the Lord and this will also happen to you!

AMEN! I desire to walk in THE BLESSING of GOD promised in His Word! I hope that YOU  do, too! Now let's get into the Word and EXPECT great and godly things to happen more frequently than ever before! Here is Hillsong with "Children of the Light":

Shalom,

I love Psalm 139 from our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan, and what it says about our GOD knowing me so intimately and being involved in every aspect of my life! But today what really stands out to me is this from verses 17-18:

17 How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 If I could count them, they would be more in number than the sand. When I awoke, [could I count to the end] I would still be with You.

There is NO END to HIS powerful and eternal LOVE for us! Never let anyone or anything keep YOU from daily intimate fellowship with HIM! The ONE Who lives YOU most and best! Here is Hillsong's TAYA with "All Eyes On You":

 Shalom,

Today I want to share from Kenneth E. Hagin's "Faith Food" devotional.

Taking Your Place

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. — COLOSSIANS 3:1-2

The elevation of the believer to be seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father took place potentially at the resurrection (Ephesians 2:5-6). Meditate on this passage until it becomes real to you. Remember, every heavenly blessing is yours (Ephesians 1:3). But you have to take your place there to enjoy them. The believer whose eyes have been opened to his throne rights in Christ may: (1) Accept his seat, and (2) Begin to exercise the spiritual authority that seating confers on him.

The devil bitterly resents our entrance into his domain. He has been used to exercising authority and ruling over someone’s life, so he will concentrate his forces against us when we come into these mighty truths. And no truth encounters such opposition as the truth of the authority of the believer!

The only place of safety is to be seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality, power, might, and dominion. If the believer abides steadfastly, by faith, in this place, he cannot be touched by the enemy. So take your seat in heavenly places and keep it!

Confession: I set my affection on heavenly facts. I keep myself mindful that I am seated with Christ in heavenly places far above the enemy!

Ephesians 2:6 actually says that we are seated IN Christ IN heavenly places! HE lives IN US by Holy Spirit and WE are seated IN HIM! We are one with HIM! Mediate on that until it becomes so real to you that you realize that NOTHING can EVER separate YOU from HIM! HALLELUJAH! Such confidence that brings! Here is Hillsong with "All To Him":

Shalom,

Today I want to share this from Oswald Chambers' "My Utmost For His Highest":

Readiness

God called unto him…and he said, Here am I. — Exodus 3:4

When God speaks, many of us are like men in a fog, we give no answer. Moses’ reply revealed that he was somewhere. Readiness means a right relationship to God and a knowledge of where we are at present. We are so busy telling God where we would like to go. The man or woman who is ready for God and His work is the one who carries off the prize when the summons comes. We wait with the idea of some great opportunity, something sensational, and when it comes we are quick to cry — “Here am I.” Whenever Jesus Christ is in the ascendant, we are there; but we are not ready for an obscure duty.

Readiness for God means that we are ready to do the tiniest little thing or the great big thing, it makes no difference. We have no choice in what we want to do, whatever God’s programme may be we are there, ready. When any duty presents itself we hear God’s voice as Our Lord heard His Father’s voice, and we are ready for it with all the alertness of our love for Him. Jesus Christ expects to do with us as His Father did with Him. He can put us where He likes, in pleasant duties or in mean* duties, because the union is that of the Father and Himself. “That they may be one, even as We are one.”

Be ready for the sudden surprise visits of God. A ready person never needs to get ready. Think of the time we waste trying to get ready when God has called! The burning bush is a symbol of everything that surrounds the ready soul, it is ablaze with the presence of God.

*mean: as used here, something or someone ordinary, common, low, or ignoble, rather than cruel or spiteful.

This is SO important! OBEDIENCE to what Holy Spirit is telling us to do is what HE is looking for and the only thing that will be rewarded! Stay in close fellowship with HIM by meditating on the Word of God and obeying the leading of Holy Spirit! Here, to help you with this, are Hillsong Kids with an older song called  "Trust and Obey":

Analogy

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. — COLOSSIANS 1:18

Here’s where we believers have missed it! We’ve recognized that Jesus is the Head of the Church, and we’ve exalted Him to His position of Power, all right. But we’ve failed to see that the Head is wholly dependent upon its body for carrying out its plans. We’ve failed to see that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We’ve failed to see that Jesus has authority over Satan’s power. If this authority is ever exercised, it will have to be exercised through the Body. We’ve been so sure that we couldn’t do anything, that we’ve left everything up to Christ the Head of the Church — and the Head is powerless without the Body.

Take your own physical head as an example. It is powerless to carry out any of its plans without the cooperation of the body. Your head might see a songbook on a rack in front of you, but unless your body cooperates, your head will never be able to sing from that book.

The ministry God wants to accomplish through His Son in this world will be carried out through the Body of Christ. And we — the Body of Christ — have the same authority the Head has!

Confession: The ministry God wants to accomplish through His Son in this world will be carried out through the Body of Christ. I am a member of the Body, and I will exercise my authority!

We must learn to KNOW who WE are in JESUS! THEN walk in that powerful TRUTH! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Hope of the World":

Shalom,

Today I want to share this devotional from our partners, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland.

Live the Love Life

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 1 John 2:5-6

There is nothing—absolutely nothing—that is more important than learning to love. In fact, how accurately you perfect the love walk will determine how much of the perfect will of God you accomplish. That’s because every other spiritual force derives its action from love. For example, the Bible teaches us that faith works by love. And answered prayer is almost an impossibility when a believer steps outside of love and refuses to forgive or is in strife with his brother.

Without love, your giving will not work. Tongues and prophecy will not work. Faith fails and knowledge is unfruitful. All the truths that you have learned from God’s Word work by love. They will profit you nothing unless you live the love of God.

First Corinthians 13:4-8 paints a perfect picture of how love behaves. It’s patient and kind. It’s not jealous or proud. It doesn’t behave rudely or selfishly and it isn’t touchy. Love “beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.”

Sounds like a tall order, doesn’t it? But don’t despair. You are a love creature. God has re-created your spirit in the image of love. And He has sent His love Spirit to live in you and teach you how to love as He loves. You can live the love life. Begin today.

Walking in LOVE is the most important thing that we can do on our part to continue to receive all that God has porivded for us through our NEW and BETTER Covenant! Here is Hillsong with "Real Love":

Shalom,

Today I encourage you to read Psalm 104 (the Spoken Word Bible Rading Plan for today) and then read it in other translations! THEN, do THIS from verses 33-34:

33 I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have any being. 34 May my meditation be sweet to Him; as for me, I will rejoice in the Lord.

AMEN! That is how we learn the Word of God and gain layer upon layer of knowledge and understanding the Holy Spirit can bring up to us at the right time! I hope that you are following along with us through this wonderful Bible Reading Plan, and then meditating on what you read every day! Joshua 1:8 promises THIS for those who do!

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

Shalom,

I am encouraging YOU to Worship the Lord Jesus with everything that is within you! And do it NOW! Here is Psalm 103:17-22 for your enjoyment, empowerment, enlightenment and JOY!

17 But the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord are from everlasting to everlasting upon those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, and His righteousness is to children’s children— 18 To such as keep His covenant [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it] and to those who [earnestly] remember His commandments to do them [imprinting them on their hearts]. 19 The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all. 20 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His word. 21 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, all you His hosts, you His ministers who do His pleasure. 22 Bless the Lord, all His works in all places of His dominion; bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul!

AMEN! Praise Him at any and all times! He INHABITS (LIVES IN) the very praises of HIS people! Here is Hillsong with "Every Breath":

Shalom,

Today I want to share from Joseph Prince's "Daily Grace" devotional!

Get Your Life Back

And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all. Luke 6:19

Trembling at the thought of being seen and stoned by the crowds, the man with leprosy crouched beneath one of the many stone slabs dotting the slopes of the picturesque hills that framed the Sea of Galilee. He had come to see the man they called Jesus, Who he had heard was a healer.

People had talked about how Jesus healed—how everyone who had gone to Him for healing received their healing. He turned none away. Whatever their conditions—fevers, paralyses, deaf ears, or demonic oppression—He healed them all.

All. That little word gave him hope that perhaps even he might be made whole. By the time he reached the hills, a large multitude had gathered on the slopes to listen to Jesus teach. This poor diseased man couldn’t see Jesus from where he was hiding in fear, but because of the unique acoustics of the hills, he could hear every word that Jesus was speaking to the multitudes:

“And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you” (Matthew 6:28–30 NLT).

He listened attentively—the timbre of Jesus’ voice and every word He spoke carried an immeasurable depth of understanding and empathy for his everyday fears. Embers of hope that he had thought long dead suddenly flared to life, fanned by the authority of Jesus’ words. Whereas he had initially trembled from fear of being exposed, now he began trembling with a different emotion that made him listen even more fervently.

As the meaning of Jesus’ words sank in, the man with leprosy began to weep. For the first time in years, he wondered, Is this possible? That God wants to be a Father to me? A heavenly Father Who would clothe me much better than the lilies, which are better clothed than Solomon in all his glory, if I put my trust in Him? Is it possible that God is reaching out to me with kindness, acceptance, and love, and inviting me to taste and receive His goodness? After all the years of being rejected and living as an outcast, something deep within his heart broke at these new thoughts and brought on a fresh flood of tears.

Galvanized by the unmistakable compassion in Jesus’ voice that caused hope to race along every still-intact nerve in his body, the man crawled out of his makeshift shelter the moment Jesus finished speaking. All thoughts of staying hidden were gone. All he wanted to do was to go to Jesus and ask Him to take his disease away.

As he began to make his way to Jesus, there, coming down the hill, a man walking slightly ahead of a few others caught his eye. He realized it was Jesus, coming straight toward him.

Instead of having gone straight down to the crowds after preaching to them, the Lord had turned another way to go toward the lone, afflicted man, as if He already knew all about the man’s need and where he was. Unable to hold back his feelings, the man fell at Jesus’ feet and worshiped Him.

In a voice still choked with tears, he whispered, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Without hesitation, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said, with the same compassion and warmth the man had heard earlier in His voice. “Be cleansed” (Matthew 8:2–3).

As he felt the touch of Jesus’ warm hands, the man closed his eyes involuntarily and his body shuddered under that touch. It had been so long since he had felt the touch of another human being, let alone a warm and loving touch.

Then he opened his eyes to look at Jesus, and found Him smiling at him with love in His eyes. Sensing that something was different about his body, the man looked down at his hands, which a moment ago had been covered with open sores and had ended in stubs for fingers. His eyes beheld healthy hands with fingers fully formed and skin completely whole.

Like one in a dream, he began lifting the sleeves and hem of his robe and watched in amazement as the cloth rolled upward to reveal smooth, unblemished skin covering his arms, legs, and feet. He was cleansed! The power of Jesus had, in an instant, swallowed up his uncleanness.

He looked up into the face of the One Who had made him whole, overcome with gratitude. Even as he turned to go, the man knew he would never forget the compassion and encouragement he had seen in our Lord Jesus’ face, nor His warm and affirming touch.

He has not just healed and cleansed me, the elated man thought as he walked away in wonder. He has given me back my life!

AMEN! Our God IS GOD! The ONE and ONLY! He has ALREADY blessed us with ALL spirituall blessing in heavenly places IN CHRIST! The SECRET to being BLESSED and living IN the BLESSING, is to stay in the WORD and in the SPIRIT! Holy SPirit will continually lead, guide and direct you in the way that you SHOULD go in order to stay in God's perfect will for YOU! Here is Hillsong with "That's the Power":

Shalom,

Today I want to share again from Kenneth E. Hagin's "Faith Food". This is another vital message that every born again believer MUST know in order to walk in the fullness of our New Covenant authority and blessing!

Your Domain

For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). — ROMANS 5:17 (Amplified)

In the time when Paul wrote this, kings reigned over certain countries or domains.

You are to reign in your domain too. This doesn’t mean you’re to reign and rule over other people, but you’re to rule and reign in your life, your dominion. You’re to rule and reign over circumstances, poverty, sickness, disease — everything that would hinder. You’re to reign because you have authority!

How do you have it? Through the One, Jesus Christ.

Don’t let the devil cheat you out of the blessings God intended you should have. God never intended that you should be poverty stricken and destitute. He didn’t intend that the devil should rule and reign over your family and dominate them. Just get angry at the devil. Tell him, “Take your hands off of my children! You’ve got no right here. I’m ruling over this domain!” If he says anything about it, quote him Romans 5:17.

Confession: I reign in my domain. I have the authority to do so. I reign by the One, Jesus Christ. The enemy cannot rule over my family. He cannot rule over me!

AMEN! And along with that, tell the devil: "Not Today"!

Shalom in Him!

Shalom,

Today I want to share from our partner, Jerry Savelle's, devotional.

ALWAYS

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV)

Did you know that victory is always yours—that it actually belongs to you?

The key word in the scripture above is always. The knowledge that God always causes us to triumph gets rid of the “win a few, lose a few” philosophy people are so fond of.

I’ve had people say, “But, Brother Jerry, I haven’t always triumphed.” My answer is always the same: “Well, we know that’s not God’s fault because the Bible says God always leads us in triumph.”

What some fail to realize is this: just because the Word says God always leads us to triumph in Christ, it doesn’t mean we will never be attacked or have adversity. It is what we do during the attack that determines whether we win or lose.

I made up my mind years ago that I would never accept failure. Since that time, I’ve experienced setbacks and I’ve faced many opportunities to fail. But I’ve learned that the battle is never over until God has an opportunity to turn what seems to be a defeat into a triumph.

No matter what kind of persecution, adversity, or attack you may be under, according to God’s Word the victory is already yours. You can get discouraged and choose to give up before it comes, but I am totally convinced that God already has a victory planned for you.

You have the potential to experience triumph in every situation—if you won’t give up!

Confession: I believe God will turn every adversity into a victory. I believe God has a victory plan for every negative circumstance I face now, or will ever face. I expect victory in every situation because God has promised me that I can always triumph in Christ.

AMEN! What extreme confidence we can have when we truly believe that HE will do this! And what joy will be stirred up in us as we thank and praise Him for it all! HALLELUJAH! Here is Brooke Ligertwood with "Honey In The Rock":

Shalom,

Today I want to share again from Joseph Prince's "Daily Grace Inspirations" devotional:

Not Self-Occupied but Christ-Occupied

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20

To see the power of right believing in your daily life, I want to show you some practical ways in which you can be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Right believing is all about renewing your mind and uprooting the wrong beliefs that shape your thinking and behavior. That’s why the Word of God says, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think” (Romans 12:2 NLT).

God wants to change the way we think by shifting our thoughts from self-occupation to Christ-occupation. Our human tendency is to be focused on ourselves. We are prone to excessive self-introspection and are easily susceptible to becoming preoccupied with ourselves rather than with Jesus.

Many of our greatest pains, struggles, failures, and miseries stem from us being “I” centered. Oftentimes, we are engrossed with thoughts such as, “Have I done enough?”, “What is wrong with me?”, and “Why do I have so many weaknesses?” Unfortunately, when we become overly occupied with self, we become obsessed, oppressed, and inevitably depressed.

My friend, is your mind filled constantly with thoughts of how you have failed, how you have missed it, and how unworthy you are? That is symptomatic of someone who is clearly self-occupied.

Thoughts like that cause a person to develop an inferiority complex. People who suffer from this are ever ready to condemn themselves. Their minds are clouded with negativity and pessimism.

But self-occupation can also manifest at the other end of the pendulum’s swing as a superiority complex. There are people who think they are always better than everyone else. They are painfully arrogant, and they think their perspectives and opinions are always right. Whether you are feeling superior or inferior, your focus is still on yourself, and in the end that causes you great pain, misery, and heartache.

Only in Christ will you experience true transformation and walk neither in pride nor in false humility. When you are Christ-occupied, the flesh in you becomes inconsequential and you begin manifesting all the lovely, wholesome, and beautiful attributes of Jesus unconsciously.

The fruit of the Spirit, such as love, joy, peace, and kindness, flow through you effortlessly when your mind is renewed and occupied with the person of Jesus. It’s an inevitability! You cannot touch His grace and not become holy any more than you can touch water and not get wet.

AMEN! There is so much freedom in this! Let's focus on JESUS and we will know true freedom! Here is Hillsong with "Freedom":

Shalom,

We read Psalm 98 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today and I want YOU to see it from the Amplified Bible!

1 O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have wrought salvation for Him. 2 The Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness has He openly shown in the sight of the nations. 3 He has [earnestly] remembered His mercy and loving-kindness, His truth and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have witnessed the salvation of our God. 4 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy, yes, sing praises! 5 Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the voice of melody. 6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord! 7 Let the sea roar, and all that fills it, the world, and those who dwell in it! 8 Let the rivers clap their hands; together let the hills sing for joy. 9 Before the Lord, for He is coming to judge [and rule] the earth; with righteousness will He judge [and rule] the world, and the peoples with equity.

Sing to the LORD a NEW SONG! Why? Because HE has done MARVELOUS things FOR us! When we rejoice every single day for what HE has already done, we are more than prepared to walk in the fullness of the manifestation of HIS GLORY in our lives! Are you READY for this? If not, then you can probably benefit fro THIS in Luke 10 for today! Martha was conplaining to JESUS that her sister Mary was not helping her with all of the work of serving while she was sitting at the feet of JESUS.

39 And she had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was listening to His teaching. 40 But Martha [overly occupied and too busy] was distracted with much serving; and she came up to Him and said, Lord, is it nothing to You that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me [to lend a hand and do her part along with me]! 41 But the Lord replied to her by saying, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; 42 There is need of only one or but a few things. Mary has chosen the good portion [that which is to her advantage], which shall not be taken away from her.

JESUS said that MARY had made the better choice! She chose the WORD of GOD taught by the LIVING Word of God HIMSELF! You and I must make that very same choice IF we desire to stay in fellowship with HIM! Here, to help you with that, is Hillsong with "Ready Or Not":

Shalom,

Today's "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E. Hagin is another that I want to share with your!

His Body

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. — 1 CORINTHIANS 12:27

We’ve sometimes prayed about the Lord’s work upon the earth like this: “Lord, You do this. Lord, You do that.”

But think about what Jesus said in Matthew 28:18 and 19, “ . . . All power [authority] is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore . . . .” The Lord Jesus Christ conferred the authority on the earth upon us. He commissioned us to go.

Actually, the authority that Christ can exercise on the earth has to be exercised through the Church. The Church is His Body. And the Church is here. Christ is not here. He’s at the right hand of the Father. Christ is the Head of the Church, but all of His orders have to be carried out through His Body. Everything Christ does on the earth has to be done through His Body.

You’re a member in particular of Christ’s Body. He has conferred upon you authority over all the power of the enemy!

Confession: I am a member in particular of the Body of Christ. I am a worker together with God in the completing of His work upon the earth. I am well-equipped. I am endued with power and authority in Jesus’ Name. And I will faithfully fulfill my part in God’s plan.

AMEN! YOU are exactly who your FATHER GOD says that you are and YOU can DO exactly what HE says you can do! DARE to BELIEVE! Here is Hillsong with "Who You Say I Am":

Shalom,

Today I want to share another powerful hymn of praise with ytou from Psalm 96!

1 O sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! 2 Sing to the Lord, bless (affectionately praise) His name; show forth His salvation from day to day. 3 Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples. 4 For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; He is to be reverently feared and worshiped above all [so-called] gods. 5 For all the gods of the nations are [lifeless] idols, but the Lord made the heavens. 6 Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. 7 Ascribe to the Lord, O you families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. 8 Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering and come [before Him] into His courts. 9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; tremble before and reverently fear Him, all the earth. 10 Say among the nations that the Lord reigns; the world also is established, so that it cannot be moved; He shall judge and rule the people righteously and with justice. 11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all the things which fill it; 12 Let the field be exultant, and all that is in it! Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy 13 Before the Lord, for He comes, for He comes to judge and govern the earth! He shall judge the world with righteousness and justice and the peoples with His faithfulness and truth.

The Book of Psalms was the original 'hymn book'! If you want to increase the 'volume' of your praise and worship (AMOUNT, not SOUND LEVEL) then practice with songs like these! SING this ABOUT HIM and TO HIM! You will be amazed at the increase in your sensitivity to His voice and in your understanding of His Word! Here are Hillsong Kids with "I Give You My Hallelujah":

Shalom,

Today I want to share again from Oswald Chambers' "My Utmost For His Highest" devotional.

His Agony And Our Fellowship

Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples,…tarry ye here, and watch with Me. — Matthew 26:36, 38

We can never fathom the agony in Gethsemane, but at least we need not misunderstand it. It is the agony of God and Man in one, face to face with sin. We know nothing about Gethsemane in personal experience. Gethsemane and Calvary stand for something unique; they are the gateway into Life for us.

It was not the death on the cross that Jesus feared in Gethsemane; He stated most emphatically that He came on purpose to die. In Gethsemane He feared lest He might not get through as Son of Man. He would get through as Son of God — Satan could not touch Him there; but Satan’s onslaught was that He would get through as an isolated Figure only; and that would mean that He could be no Saviour. Read the record of the agony in the light of the temptation: Then the devil “departed from Him for a season.” In Gethsemane Satan came back and was again overthrown. Satan’s final onslaught against our Lord as Son of Man is in Gethsemane.

The agony in Gethsemane is the agony of the Son of God in fulfilling His destiny as the Saviour of the world. The veil is drawn aside to reveal all it cost Him to make it possible for us to become sons of God. His agony is the basis of the simplicity of our salvation. The Cross of Christ is a triumph for the Son of Man. It was not only a sign that Our Lord had triumphed, but that He had triumphed to save the human race. Every human being can get through into the presence of God now because of what the Son of Man went through.

JESUS! HIS agony was/is OUR 'ticket' to eternal LIFE! Never take lightly what price HE had to pay, and then make the most and best use of all that HE has provided for us! WE get BLESSED and HE recieves all the GLORY! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "His Glory Appears":

 Shalom,

Today I want to share again from Kenneth and Gloria Copeland's "From Faith To Faith" devotional!

Be Loyal

…Them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. 1 Samuel 2:30

God honors those who honor Him. He’ll never forget the seeds of loyalty you sow. He’ll multiply them and give them back to you in a harvest of blessing. And Malachi 3:17 says when He makes up His jewels, you’ll be forever among them.

Forever. Think about that for a moment. By honoring God with your life and your lips, you’re stepping into a realm of blessing that will literally take an eternity to explore.

Once you begin to get that kind of eternal perspective on things, you’ll see that it’s grossly immature to get mad at God when temporary things don’t work out exactly how and when you want them to. You’ll see that your loyalty must be first of all to God, that you must seek first His kingdom—even when things seem to be going wrong. The Bible says that if you’ll do that, all these other things will be added unto you.

God never forgets. He’ll never forget that in the heat of the battle, when others were giving up and saying, “Hey, this faith stuff doesn’t work!” you were still honoring Him by standing firm and speaking His promises.

So determine in your heart today to be loyal toward God in every word you speak. Make up your mind once and for all that nothing in your life is as vital as honoring Him. Keep honoring Him and speaking words of faith.

It will work deliverance for you in this life, and in eternity you’ll sure be glad you did.

Thid is SO good! Our Father has planned and purposed so very many wonderful things for our lives when we put HIM first place! We can NEVER outgive HIM! I love trying, though! Here are Hillsong Kids with "My Number One":

Shalom,

Today in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan we read Psalm 93. Here it is:

1 The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord is robed, He has girded Himself with strength and power; the world also is established, that it cannot be moved. 2 Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting. 3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up the roaring of their waves. 4 The Lord on high is mightier and more glorious than the noise of many waters, yes, than the mighty breakers and waves of the sea. 5 Your testimonies are very sure; holiness [apparent in separation from sin, with simple trust and hearty obedience] is becoming to Your house, O Lord, forever.

Reading and declaring the Psalms is an excellent way to worship Him! And then you can sing them! The original hymn book! I am sharing this today because the message that we have been hearing so clearly lately is that WORSHIP is the highest form of prayer! Sing and shout about WHO HE IS and something happens inside of you that doesn't happen any other way! Here, to he;p you with that, is Hillsong with "What A Beautiful Name":

Shalom,

I want to share today's devotional from The Spoken Word Church website. This message is short, simple but so very important!

Insist on Today's Productivity

An unproductive day is an unhappy day. You were created to be productive, to accomplish, to multiply. Any progress toward your life dream today should be celebrated. Each hour is your employee. Give it a specific assignment.

"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." {Genesis 1:28}

This is NOT speaking of staying 'busy', but being fruitful and buying up every opportunity to be running our race and finishing our course. Each one of us has beenindividually and uniquely called, appointed and anointed by our GOD to fulfill HIS will and plans and purposes. hen we DO this, our lives will be so fulfilling! Shalom,

Today I want to share THIS from Jerry Savelle's website devotional!

DETERMINATION

They made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” (Mark 2:4-5 NIV)

How determined are you to do what it takes to connect with the life and power of God?

In the book of Mark, we find the story about a group of men who’d evidently heard about the ministry of Jesus, and they believed their paralyzed friend could be healed.

But just knowing Jesus could heal their friend was not enough. They had to be determined to do whatever was necessary to get that paralyzed man into the presence of Jesus.

Jesus saw their faith in their determination to get to Him—even if it meant ripping up someone else’s roof. He saw their determination to connect with the source of all life and power.

How determined are you to get into the presence of Jesus? How determined are you to take the time to meditate in the World of God and allow God to speak to you? If you find yourself unable to spend much quality time in the Word, perhaps you have an overcrowded life.

I don’t know the need you may facing today, but connecting with the life and the power of God begins with your determination to get into His presence. And when you do, you’ll find sufficient grace to meet your every need.

Confession: Father, I thank You for giving me the wisdom I need to adjust my schedule so that I can spend more quality time in Your presence. I am determined to keep You as the highest priority in my life.

AMEN! I especially like the line that says "If you find yourself unable to spend much quality time in the Word, perhaps you have an overcrowded life.

Now THAT is a hard TRUTH that many people would not own up to! DON'T be THAT person! Recognize when you have fallen into wrong thinking and change it! If you don't, then you will eventually step right OUT of the life of faith and trust and confidence inGod and His Word and right into a life of fear and doubt! Remember ALWAYS that God's Word is TRUTH! You can count on it! Here is Hillsong with "Say The Word":
