I REALLY like this from today's Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan! 2 Corinthians 4:6-7:
6 For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah). 7 However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.
I love that the more time I spend in the Word of God and in HIS presence in fellowship through prayer and praise, thanksgiving and worship, the more I will understand the TREASURE that lives in ME as a born again, Spirit filled believer! When powerful things happen through these 'earthen vessels' HE gets all of the glory! My prayer for YOU is that you will get to know the ONE Who lives in you so intimately that you will be able to be instantly obedient to His every instruction, receiving the abundant harvest that HIS heart desires for YOU (John 10:10 AMP)!
