Embrace True Prosperity

Don't misunderstand prosperity. Your future depends on it. Let's define it. Prosperity is simply having enough of God's provisions to complete His instructions for your life.

Prosperity increases your ability to bless others.

"Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2)

Another way to state this definition of prosperity is: Being where God wants you to be, doing what God wants you to do! It also means being in control of every area of your life so that WHEN God tells you to go or to do, you are able to obey! Refuse to be tied to things, but use those things that you have been blessed with to be a blessing to others, pointing them to the Source of all good things: JESUS! There is no lack of any good thing with God! He is NOT poor, nor does He desire for you to be, as you can see from 3 John 2! Another Scripture that reveals God's desire for your prosperity is John 10:10:

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

Let's desire what God desires FOR us, for the same reason that He desires it! What is that reason? To seek and save the lost! As our partner, Jerry O'Dell says:

"The REASON for the KNOWLEDGE, the PURPOSE for the POWER, and the PLAN for the PROSPERITY is reaching the lost!" 

When our attitude and motives are in line with those of JESUS, then nothing the enemy can do can stop God's blessings from manifesting in abundance! Here is a song from Hillsong Worship that directs our attention to HIM! "Look To The Son":
