Here is a Word to encourage and edify you today! Psalm 40:4-5:
4 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who makes the Lord his refuge and trust, and turns not to the proud or to followers of false gods. 5 Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; no one can compare with You! If I should declare and speak of them, they are too many to be numbered.
If YOU have made the Lord YOUR refuge and trust, then you are "blessed, happy, fortunate and to be envied"! Many times when you are persecuted for your love for the Lord and your stand on His Word, it comes because the people doing so are lost and hurting and the enemy, the devil, has their ear! Remember that our fight is NOT with people, but with the works and workers of darkness, whom Jesus has already defeated and handed YOU His victory! AMEN! Now act like you believe it and sing that "new song" that verse 3 tells us that HE has put in our hearts! Praise ALWAYS stirs up joy! AMEN! Here is a joyful song for you!
