John 3:16-17 is very clear concerning how very much the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible loves mankind!
16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him. AMP
God did NOT send Jesus into the world to condemn the world, but to save them! BUT, He is NOT a pushover! He has given us a free will to choose, has presented our options clearly, has encouraged us to always choose LIFE, and then leaves us with the decision! HE does not choose FOR us! "Whoever" means each and every one of us! I have chosen LIFE! Have you? If not, I encourage you to visit our website through the link on the left to find out how! HE doesn't! We will each live for eternity with the results of our own personal choice in the matter! Look at what Jesus said to His disciples in John 9:39:
39 Then Jesus said, I came into this world for judgment [as a Separator, in order that there may be separation between those who believe on Me and those who reject Me], to make the sightless see and to make those who see become blind.
