There are two things I want to bring to your attention today! Psalm 14:1a says this:
14 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.
When you encounter people who say that there is no God, THIS will help you realize what type of person you are dealing with! Don't get into an argument with them! The Word of God tells us that people KNOW that there IS a God because of what they see in the creation around them (Romans 1:20)! Realize that you are in the presence of a fool, according to the Word of God, and you cannot reach a fool! Simply pray for them that laborers whom they WILL receive from will be sent into their lives! IF He sends YOU, then HE will give you the words to say that will pierce their heart with the TRUTH! AMEN!
The other Truth that I want to share with you is found in our reading in Matthew today. When Jesus had heard what happened to His cousin John (the Baptist), He went off to be alone. The people sought for Him and found Him! How did Jesus respond to this obvious satanic attack against someone He loved? Matthew 14:14:
14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
And, that was not all that He did! When the people were hungry, Jesus fed them, the MULTITUDE (5000 men, PLUS women and children!) with five loaves of bread and two fish! JESUS responded to satan with miraculous power to deliver! The next time you are faced with an attack from the enemy, GO THOU AND DO LIKEWISE (Luke 10:37)! Preach the Gospel, lay hands on the sick, deliver the oppressed and anything else that HE brings to you to do! AMEN! The enemy will be thoroughly discouraged and reminded, once more, that HE LOST!
