We finish the year in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan with all of Psalm 119! This is a fantastic way to close out a year and, even more important, to start a new year! Are YOU ready for 2015? You will be if you actually take the time to read and meditate on Psalm 119! This Psalm is ALL about the wonderful Word of God! I challenge you, as part of your meditation, to find the Word in every verse! You may have to check out a few translations to find every one, but it is there! Make the 2015 COMMITMENT (NOT just a good idea, but a devoted promise to God and yourself!) to put God's Word first place in EVERY situation. IF you do, YOUR 2015 will be the best ever, no matter what happens in the world! AMEN! Here are the first three verses for you to start!
1 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the undefiled (the upright, truly sincere, and blameless) in the way [of the revealed will of God], who walk (order their conduct and conversation) in the law of the Lord (the whole of God’s revealed will). 2 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek, inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the whole heart. 3 Yes, they do no unrighteousness [no willful wandering from His precepts]; they walk in His ways.
