I really love Psalm 33 and how appropriate it is for us today! Look at verses 8-12:
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord [revere and worship Him]; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. 9 For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. 10 The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nought; He makes the thoughts and plans of the peoples of no effect. 11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of His heart through all generations. 12 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His heritage.
It makes no difference what the nations of the earth or the rulers of those nations want to do! The One, True God of the Bible will have the final say! AMEN! Those who would promote plans, purposes and agendas that are contrary to God's Word had better prepare themselves for certain failure! Look at Galatians 6:7:
7 Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. AMP
AMEN!!! THEIR plans will come "to nought"! This is the Hebrew word "puwr", which means: TO CRUSH! AMEN! Do NOT be among THOSE! What about those of us who DO worship the One,, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible and do things His way? Look at Psalm 33:18-21:
18 Behold, the Lord's eye is upon those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe], who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness, 19 To deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. 20 Our inner selves wait [earnestly] for the Lord; He is our Help and our Shield. 21 For in Him does our heart rejoice, because we have trusted (relied on and been confident) in His holy name.
Do not allow yourself to become impatient, discouraged, depressed or fearful of what the world says! GOD is faithful to fulfill His Word when WE stand on it! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Live with "Anchor", because He IS!
Shalom in Him!
