Psalm 111:10 is a very important verse for believers to know!
10 The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom and skill [the preceding and the first essential, the prerequisite and the alphabet]; a good understanding, wisdom, and meaning have all those who do [the will of the Lord]. Their praise of Him endures forever.
Reverence means: a feeling or attitude of profound respect, awe. This is the attitude that we MUST have toward the Lord Jesus Christ! With THIS attitude, we can BEGIN to know Him, as Paul prayed in Philippians 3:10! Having this attitude going into your private and personal prayer time, study time, and praise and worship time will cause greater understanding to come than you have ever experienced before! Then bring that same reverent attitude with you to church as you prepare to hear the Word of God under the corporate anointing (where 2 or more are gathered together in His Name!) and even greater understanding will come!
