Psalm 74:12-13:
12 Yet God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth. 13 You did divide the [Red] Sea by Your might; You broke the heads of the [Egyptian] dragons in the waters.
Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8)! The God Who delivered His people under the Old Covenant, will SO MUCH MORE deliver His people under the New Covenant! Under this great New Covenant, we are not JUST His people, we are His very own family! Expect deliverance in every area as you continue in His Word! Find out what belongs to YOU as a member of HIS family! No one can appropriate these blessings for you! Don't settle for less than God's very best! AMEN! Hebrews 8:6 goes right along with this!
6 But as it now is, He [Christ] has acquired a [priestly] ministry which is as much superior and more excellent [than the old] as the covenant (the agreement) of which He is a Mediator (the Arbiter, Agent) is superior and more excellent, [because] it is enacted and rests upon more important (sublimer, higher, and nobler) promises.
We HAVE the better Covenant! Find out what it includes and what is involved and you will never find yourself "under the circumstances" again! Thank You, Jesus!
Isaiah 61:1-3:
1 THE SPIRIT of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes of those who are bound. 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion -- to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment [expressive4] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit -- that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
We read about this yesterday and here it is! Do YOU think the Lord is trying to get something across to us? I DO! I John 2:20 says that we have received an "unction", an "anointing"! That "anointing" is the Spirit of Almighty God living IN us, enabling us to do what Jesus did! You have received the "indwelling" of the Holy Spirit when you were born again! You must follow up by receiving the "infilling" of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, in order to operate in all of the gifts of the Spirit that are meant to equip us for the work of the ministry! All believers are in the full-time ministry (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). We need to be about our Father's business! Contact us to find out more!
