Shalom,

We read Luke 5 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today. I really love the message found in verses 12-13!
12 While He was in one of the towns, there came a man full of (covered with) leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cure me and make me clean. 13 And [Jesus] reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed! And immediately the leprosy left him.

To end any prayer for healing with 'if it be Thy will' is quite literally a slap in the face of the Most High God! Jesus FOREVER answered that question for HIS people right here! We know from Acts 10:34 that our God is NOT a 'respecter of persons', meaning that if He desires something Good for anyone, He desires it for everyone who belongs to Him! Now, just for fun, let's look at verses 12-13 from a couple of different translations of the Bible!

12 Once, when Yeshua was in one of the towns, there came a man completely covered with tzara‘at. On seeing Yeshua, he fell on his face and begged him, “Sir, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” 13 Yeshua reached out his hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing! Be cleansed!” Immediately the tzara‘at left him. Complete Jewish Bible

And it came to pass that while He was in one of the cities, behold, a man full of leprosy. And having seen Jesus, having fallen upon his face, he begged Him, saying, Sir, if you have the desire in your heart, you are able to cleanse me. And having stretched forth His hand, He touched him, saying at the same time, My heart desires it. Be cleansed at once. And instantly the leprosy left him. The New Testament: An Expanded Translation by Kenneth S. Wuest

12 One day in one of the villages there was a man covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus he fell down before him in prayer and said, "If you want to, you can cleanse me." 13 Jesus put out his hand, touched him, and said, "I want to. Be clean." Then and there his skin was smooth, the leprosy gone. THE MESSAGE

Does Jesus ALWAYS want to heal you? HE says: I WANT TO! Now that this is settled, it is up to US to grow our faith so that we REALLY believe this, then NOTHING will be able to keep our healing, and health, from us! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Healer":

Shalom in Him!
