Psalm 7:14-16 says this:

¹⁴ Behold, [the wicked man] conceives iniquity and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies. ¹⁵ He made a pit and hollowed it out and has fallen into the hole which he made [before the trap was completed].¹⁶ His mischief shall fall back in return upon his own head, and his violence come down [with the loose dirt] upon his own scalp.

Meditate on these verses and remember them whenever you find yourself in a situation where people are coming against you! THIS is why we are instructed by the Lord to do THIS in Matthew 5:44:

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; KJV

Whatever a person thinks, speaks or does toward another person will be multiplied back! That's why Ephesians 6:8 tells us that any good thing we do will be rewarded by the Lord and Galatians 6:7 tells us that we will reap whatever type of seed that we sow, whether good or evil! Be a blessing and sow GOOD seeds into the life of every person and then live with the expectancy of good things coming back to you! So what do we do while we are waiting for the Lord to judge the evil doers? Matthew 7:17:

¹⁷ I will give to the Lord the thanks due to His rightness and justice, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.

Matthew 6:25-32 is very appropriate for OUR times!

²⁵ Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing? ²⁶ Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? ²⁷ And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life? ²⁸ And why should you be anxious about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field and learn thoroughly how they grow; they neither toil nor spin. ²⁹ Yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his magnificence (excellence, dignity, and grace) was not arrayed like one of these. [I Kings 10:4-7.] ³⁰ But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith? ³¹ Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? ³² For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all.

There are no shortage of "experts" who will give you any number of REALLY bad scenarios for what is going on or about to happen, in this nation and the world. WE need to remember our Covenant with the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible! HE will NOT fail us! We must continue to "build ourselves up in our most holy faith, praying in the holy Spirit" (Jude 1:20), and continue in the Word of God! Find out what God has promised YOU in His Word, and then refused to get into doubt, fear and unbelief about anything! Fear and doubt WILL come, but cast them down and replace them with the Word! OUR promise? Verse 33:

³³ But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness  (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

I LOVE this from Jerry Savelle's Daily Devotional today!

Hunger for God and a deeper revelation of His Word are the keys to becoming a winner in life. They are keys that you need to be successful in every endeavor. God ideas are the ideas that come to us only through the wisdom of God, through His Word, and through His Spirit speaking to our spirits.

The Bible says, "Canst thou by searching find out God? Canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? It is as high as heaven..." Job 11:7,8 {Here it is  from the Amplified Bible: '⁷ Can you find out the deep things of God, or can you by searching find out the limits of the Almighty [explore His depths, ascend to His heights, extend to His breadths, and comprehend His infinite perfection]? ⁸ His wisdom is as high as the heights of heaven!'....}

God's thoughts are so much higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8) that we cannot comprehend them except through God's revelation of them in our spirits. If you are going to receive God ideas, you must be spiritually hungry for them and search for them in God's Word.

Every scripture is impregnated with the wisdom of God. Just about the time you've studied a scripture until you're sure you've gotten it fixed in your spirit, you'll find that God has more revelation to give you from that particular scripture. The more time you spend with God in His Word, the more He will reveal to you. His wisdom is inexhaustible. If you are willing to reach out for it in faith, you will never stop receiving revelation knowledge from every verse in the Bible.

But when you begin a quest for the deep things of God, the knowledge of God, you are starting a search that will last a lifetime. Philippians 3:14 says, "Press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." That is a lifelong quest. It's an unending search. No one has ever discovered all there is to know about God. No matter how much you know, there's still plenty more God is eager to reveal to you. So the question becomes, "how much can you take in?"

AMEN! How much do YOU want to know HIM and His Word? THAT is the real question that will determine YOUR life! Choose well! Here is "Let The Peace of God Reign" by Hillsong. It's a very old song, but still powerful! The lyrics follow!

Matthew 4:23  shows us the work that Jesus carried out during His earthly ministry! 

²³ And He went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news (Gospel) of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every weakness and infirmity among the people.

Do you remember that Jesus said THIS in John 14:12:

¹² I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.

OUR responsibility as born again, Spirit-filled believers is to be Jesus to the world! WE are His body, called to do His work! What will be the results? Matthew 4:24-25:

²⁴ So the report of Him spread throughout all Syria, and they brought Him all who were sick, those afflicted with various diseases and torments, those under the power of demons, and epileptics, and paralyzed people, and He healed them. ²⁵ And great crowds joined and accompanied Him about, coming from Galilee and Decapolis [the district of the ten cities east of the Sea of Galilee] and Jerusalem and Judea and from the other [the east] side of the Jordan.

I want to share Kenneth E. Hagin's Faith Food today.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Cor. 5:17). 

Today's text is one of my favorite scriptures. I got ahold of it while I was still a bedfast teenager. And when I came off that bed healed, I told everyone I met, "I am a new creature!" 

Meditate on this verse today, because if you do not understand the truth of what the New Birth is, it will hinder your faith and will keep you from receiving the blessings God intends you to have. 

The spiritual nature of man, you see, is a fallen nature - a satanic nature. Man received this satanic nature from Satan when Adam sinned. And no man can change his own human nature. But God can! 

When you were born again, something went on inside you - instantaneously! That old, satanic nature went out of you. And the very life and nature of God came into you! God created you as a brand-new creature - a new creation. The man on the inside - the real you, which is a spirit man - has already become a new man in Christ. 

So don't look at yourself from the physical or the natural standpoint. Look at yourself from the spiritual standpoint. See yourself as a new creature in Christ. That's how God sees you! 

Once a person recognizes that they are a personal sinner, in need of a personal Savior, and they receive Jesus of Nazareth as Lord and Savior, THIS Truth is the next most important one to know! If we don't have confidence in who we are - in HIM - then we will never be able to walk in the fullness of all that the God of the Bible intended for us from before the foundation of the world! You ARE a spirit being. You HAVE a soul (mind, emotions, and will) and you live in a human body while on the earth. Your spirit is instantly recreated the moment you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Your body WILL BE instantly made new at the Rapture, or catching away, of the Church. Your soul must be renewed on a daily basis in order to understand just who you are and what you can do as a born again child of the Living God! To better comprehend how very important the Word of God is, and really KNOWING it for yourself, let's look at Genesis 3:1-3:

¹ NOW THE serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he [Satan] said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, You shall not eat from every tree of the garden? ² And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit from the trees of the garden, ³ Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

Is that REALLY what God had said concerning this tree? Let's look at Genesis 2:17:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. AMP

GOD said that they would die if they ATE of the tree! Who do you think told Eve that she shouldn't even touch it? My idea is that Adam was so taken with his new "help meet" that he wanted to make certain that nothing happened to her, so he told her not to even touch the tree! Is that really a problem? It wasn't accurate, therefore it was not REALLY God's Word! When Eve touched the fruit and nothing happened, do YOU think it made her bolder to actually eat it? This scenario may or may not be true, but the bottom line is that the Word of God is powerful in itself and does NOT need us to add anything to it! In fact, we are warned against doing that very thing (Revelation 22:18). We all know what happened as a result! We NEEDED a Saviour! Thank You, Father, for Your wonderful plan of Salvation! Thank You, Jesus, for fulfilling that plan! Thank You, Holy Spirit, for teaching us what it means to US! Amen! Let's make this the year that we come to know and treasure the Word of God more than any previous year! You will be SO glad you did! Here is Hillsong with "Love Knows No End":

Would YOU like a Word from the Lord for 2013? Here it is! Psalm 1:1-3:

¹ BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. ² But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. ³ And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. AMP

Set your heart this year to refuse to be moved by anything you see or hear that is contrary to the Word of God! If you see evil, speak out, but refuse doubt, fear and unbelief, and refuse to get into foolish arguing with people who are NOT ready to hear the truth anyway! It will save you a lot of grief and keep your attitude clear and positive! These people REALLY need you to pray for them! Unless they change their thinking to agree with God (repentance) they WILL suffer a certain end! Verses 4-6:

⁴ Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away. ⁵ Therefore the wicked [those disobedient and living without God] shall not stand [justified] in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God]. ⁶ For the Lord knows and is fully acquainted with the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly [those living outside God's will] shall perish (end in ruin and come to nought). Make THIS your daily prayer for all of 2013 and you will find that on this day next year, you will have grown in the Word of God beyond your greatest dreams! HE delights in teaching US His Word! Philippians 3:10:

¹⁰[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection, and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] ¹¹ That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].  AMP

I am sure that I use this verse every time I read through Philippians! It is MY life's verse! Unless, and until, we really know Him, we can't possibly live to the fullness that He has designed for us to live in THIS life! I hope that YOU will make this YOUR goal for 2013: to know HIM a little more every day! Just keep in mind what Paul also said in verses 13-14:

¹³ I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, ¹⁴ I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

Never give up, never give in! Just keep on running the race that HE has set before you! Here is "Running" by Hillsong United!

Proverbs 29:7 says this:

⁷ The [consistently] righteous man knows and cares for the rights of the poor, but the wicked man has no interest in such knowledge.

What a great foretelling of what is happening in this nation today! The truly born again believer is already voluntarily giving to those less fortunate! The government is trying to take away from those who, through hard work and perseverance, have prospered and become successful, and give to those who have no desire to work hard and earn for themselves! 2 Thessalonians 3:10 says this:

10 For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. ESV

Under the Old Covenant, people were to leave corners of the fields for the poor to reap. They were NOT told to reap the harvest and give it to the poor, but that the poor were to get up and get to work reaping someone else's field for themselves! When a man born with no arms and no legs (Nick Vujicic) can work hard and make something of his life, there is NO excuse for anyone! It is unscriptural, unethical and extremely unhelpful to give to those who refuse to help themselves! Jesus warned that there would always be people like that (Mark 14:7). We are free to VOLUNTARILY help them with what we have been blessed with, but the government has NO right to take it from us! Pay attention, stand up, speak out and choose to be a voice! "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer 

What is the most important thing you can give to another person? Philippians 2:16:

¹⁶ Holding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the Word of Life, so that in the day of Christ I may have something of which exultantly to rejoice and glory in that I did not run my race in vain or spend my labor to no purpose.

Give freely as the Holy Spirit leads, but never give materially without also giving LIFE through the Living Word of the Living God! Amen! Here are a few images to encourage and provoke you to GOOD works!

These verses from Proverbs 29 really stood out to me today!

²  When the [uncompromisingly] righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked man rules, the people groan and sigh

⁸ Scoffers set a city afire [inflaming the minds of the people], but wise men turn away wrath. ⁹ If a wise man has an argument with a foolish man, the fool only rages or laughs, and there is no rest.

¹¹ A [self-confident] fool utters all his anger, but a wise man holds it back and stills it.

I have seen the Truths in these verses in great evidence in the last year in regards to the Presidential and other elections. It only takes a little bit of common sense to see that this nation is right now reaping the results of the unrighteous being in office! Many good and usually positive people are moaning and groaning about what has already happened and what it SEEMS will happen in the near future! The people are NOT rejoicing over this government! We, as born again believers, MUST rejoice in what God has done and all that He has promised to do! Look at verse 16:

¹⁶ When the wicked are in authority, transgression increases, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous shall see the fall of the wicked.

SHALL see! We SHALL see the fall of the wicked! That is, IF we rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS and continue to speak the Truth in love (Ephesians 4:15)! Don't let fear or intimidation stop you or hinder you from freely and BOLDLY proclaiming the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel, expecting the One, True God to continually confirm HIS WORD with signs, wonders and miracles (Mark 16:20)! Verse 25:

²⁵ The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high.

BE the carrier of good News and let God take care of what only HE can do! Amen! Here is a reminder, by way of Hillsong United, called "No Reason To Hide":

Ephesians 6 is where we read about the individual pieces that make up the armor of God. The reason that we NEED this supernatural "armor" is found in verses 11-12:

¹¹ Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. ¹² For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

This is a vital Truth to remember whenever you encounter opposition or persecution from other people! Your adversary, the devil, through all of his workers of darkness, is the force behind every evil work. People choose whether or not to be used by the devil, but our battle is with the works and workers of darkness. WE, as born again believers and Blood-Covenant partners with Almighty God through the precious and powerful Blood of Jesus of Nazareth, have been given ALL authority over all the works of darkness as it affects our lives and the lives of our family. We need this armor in order to stand protected while in battle. Verse 18 gives us the method of defeating the darkness!

¹⁸ Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).

PRAY! Pray in the Spirit first of all! THEN, under the direction of this same Holy Spirit, pray with any other manner of prayer that is needed! Remember 1 John 5:14-15:

¹⁴ And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. ¹⁵ And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

So begin in the Spirit, then continue with your understanding as the Holy Spirit gives you the understanding and the utterance. Now go back to the Spirit unless HE leads you other wise! Amen! Here is Hillsong with "Light Will Shine":

Proverbs 27:2 says this:

² Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.

We have all been around people who couldn't seem to stop talking about themselves and all that THEY have accomplished! These can be elected officials, celebrities, co-workers, friends and even relatives! Verse 2 above is the very best attitude to have concerning your own accomplishments! Never belittle yourself, for you ARE a child of the One, True and Living God, but don't brag about yourself either. No one likes this and it will NOT cause you to find the kind of favor you need to accomplish all that God has planned for you to accomplish! The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Luke 2:7-14:

⁷ And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. ⁸ And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. ⁹ And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. ¹⁰ And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ¹¹ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. ¹² And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. ¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, ¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Proverbs 24:1-2 says this: 

¹ BE NOT envious of evil men, nor desire to be with them; ² For their minds plot oppression and devise violence, and their lips talk of causing trouble and vexation.

Now look at Proverbs 24:3-5:

³ Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation], ⁴ And by knowledge shall its chambers [of every area] be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. ⁵ A wise man is strong and is better than a strong man, and a man of knowledge increases and strengthens his power;

Do you see that operating in an ungodly way will NOT result in good things, ultimately? Operating according to sound Wisdom from the Word of God, by the Spirit of God, will cause you to find favor and do well in every area of life! Read Joshua 1:8 over and over until it the full realization comes that WE control our life here on earth! Meditate, meditate, meditate! Godly direction with a God-given promise! Amen! Ephesians 1:1-2:

 ¹ PAUL, AN apostle (special messenger) of Christ Jesus (the Messiah), by the divine will (the purpose and the choice of God) to the saints (the consecrated, set-apart ones) at Ephesus who are also faithful and loyal and steadfast in Christ Jesus: ² May grace (God's unmerited favor) and spiritual peace [which means peace with God and harmony, unity, and undisturbedness] be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Notice that Paul tells us in verse 1 that HE was divinely chosen by God to be an apostle! There did not need to be a picking if straws to decide. Not only did GOD know what He had planned for Paul to do, but He also revealed His plan to Paul! This same God knows exactly what He wants for YOU to do, and He WILL reveal it to you as you stay consistent! Here is Hillsong Kids  with "Blessed":

Did you know that this is a promise from Almighty God to you, IF you will meet the conditions? Proverbs 22:4:

⁴  The reward of humility and the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.

True Biblical humility is accepting something you don't deserve! Jesus accepted the death on the cross even though HE was without sin! He accepted it on our behalf! When we receive Him as Lord and Saviour, we accept something we do not deserve - eternal salvation and adoption as a child of the Living God! Keep an attitude of gratitude for that and maintain a reverence and awe in His presence and HE promises that riches and honor and life WILL result! What about all of those who refuse to humble themselves before God and refuse to honor and reverence Him? Galatians 6:7-8 reveal their reward:

⁷ Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. ⁸ For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

So do NOT become discouraged when it APPEARS as though evil and ungodly people are getting away with evil. It will NOT be that way forever. YOU have this promise if you refuse to give up! Galatians 6:9:

⁹ And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.

I LOVE how our Bible Reading Plan is ALWAYS right on time! Look at Galatians 5:1 from today:

¹ IN [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off].

Jesus IS the Reason for this Season! We are celebrating not only His wonderful and miraculous birth to a willing virgin, but we are also celebrating everything that His wonderful life, death and resurrection have obtained FOR US! Amen! Here is a very old song from Hosanna called "Jesus, We Celebrate Your Victory" (along with other songs in a medley). His entire story is essential to OUR victory! Know it, know Him, and celebrate!
