Shalom,
Today's devotional on The Spoken Word Church website is another vital and powerful lesson for every born again believer to KNOW and to DO!
Expect Supernatural Intervention
Elisha and his servant were surrounded by Syrian soldiers. The servant, trembling with fear, cried, "Alas, my master! How shall we do?" Elisha answered, "Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them." The servant's eyes were opened, and he saw the invisible army of angels supernaturally assigned to protect them.
Expect the supernatural. Angels are assigned to you. Never underestimate the attentiveness of your Father. Nothing is ever as bad as it first appears.
"He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength." (Isaiah 40:29)
"And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha." (2 Kings 6:17)
One of my favorite parts of this? "Never underestimate the attentiveness of your Father"! OUR God IS GOD! The ONE and ONLY! The GREAT I AM! The Lord God Almighty! There is NOTHING too difficult for Him and NOTHING that HIS GREAT LOVE won't provide for YOU when YOU trust completely IN HIM! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Desert Song" where we find these words:
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship
Shalom in Him!
