Withdraw From Contentious People

A contentious person is a trouble maker. They spread discontent, frustration and distrust. They gossip. They slander. They promote strife. Do not feed a relationship with such a person.

"As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire, so is a contentious man to kindle strife. (Proverbs 26:21)

There is SO much negativity, hatefulness and outright lying going on in almost every realm of life right now that if you are not born again, with the Spirit of Almighty God living IN you, I don't know how you can possibly find the TRUTH! As born again believers, we MUST get our TRUTH from the Word of God and Holy Spirit. When we do, then it is our responsibility to distance ourselves from all that is not TRUTH except to minister LIFE to them! Our fellowship should be with like-minded believers so that we can maintain joy and peace for those times at work, school, or other places we are responsible to be when others are watching our every move and listening to all that we say! Our responsibilty here on earth, as citizens of Heaven, is to represent JESUS as He truly is so that He, through us, can draw people to Himself! We have an awesome responsibility in this life, but the rewards are 'out of this world'! LITERALLY! AMEN! Here, as a reminder, is Hillsong Worship with "No Reason To Hide":
