We read Proverb 28 today in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan! Verse 1 is a favorite of mine!
1 The wicked flee when no man pursues them, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous are bold as a lion.
The lost and the wicked are running around in these evil sounding days wringing their hands, tearing their hair, shrieking in defense of their ungodliness and becoming unhinged! All the while, we who do know our God are strong, busy about our Father's business and doing exploits in the spritual realm because of Holy SPirit Who lives IN US! AMEN! Verse 14 is another favorite verse of mine!:
14 Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is the man who reverently and worshipfully fears [the Lord] at all times [regardless of circumstances], but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.
Remember that the fear of the Lord is the very beginning of Wisdom and of operating wisely! Be in awe of Him, His Word and His presence IN you and UPON you as a born again, Spirit-filled believer! Keep yourself built up so that you are ready to minster LIFE and LIGHT to those who, as of now, have hardened their heart! Here are Hillsong Kids with "Voices of Freedom":
