I believe Philippians 1:6 to be one of the most important verses for the born again believer!
6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
Holy Spirit is the ONE Who began the good work in us when He recreated our previously dead human spirits into the image of God! We became new creation believers who have God living IN US! The BODY of CHRIST! The CHURCH of the Living God! We are unique in the history of mankind and will forever be a trophy through the ages of what GOD has done for man! And, as if that isn't amazing anf glorious enough, the above verse gells us that Holy Spirit CONTINUES working His GOOD WORK in usap until the time that JESUS returns for us! HALLELUJAH! I like this verse from The Passion Translation, too!
6 I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this glorious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you and will put his finishing touches to it until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!
