Today I want to share the devotional from our Spoken Word Church website!
Reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness. So, do it. Only a fool ignores a lifejacket when he is drowning. Overcomers don't do it alone. They conquer their pride. They reject the trap of isolation. They reach. They know the inevitable reward of reaching.
Turn to God. Honor those who are qualified to help you. Your future depends on it.
"When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them."(Deuteronomy 4:30-31)
We were not created to be "lone rangers'! God intended for His body to be knit together for the purpose of supporting, encouraging and strengthening each other. Be ready to minister to others, and also be ready to receive their ministry to you! THAT is how the Church is supposed to act. Here is Hillsong Kids with "We Came To Meet With You":
