We read Proverbs 10 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today. There is SO much Wisdom available to us here! Our responsibility is to hear and see this WORD, then meditate on it, thinking about it over and over as Holy Spirit, our own personal Teacher, makes it all come alive and be REAL to us! When this happens, we can truly act on this Word, becoming DOERS instead of only hearers! AMEN! Look at verse 17:
17 He who heeds instruction and correction is [not only himself] in the way of life [but also] is a way of life for others. And he who neglects or refuses reproof [not only himself] goes astray [but also] causes to err and is a path toward ruin for others.
Do you see this? When we do things God's way, we WILL BE BLESSED! AND others will be BLESSED through us! What a powerful and wonderful promise! Let's put aside any and ALL hindrances to our study and meditation of the Word of the Living God, and let's go deep into His Word for the purpose of being fully equipped to set others free! To be the ANSWER instead of a hindrance to their spiritual growth! AMEN! And while you are meditating on this verse, jump down to verse 22 and meditate on THAT, too! With expectant hearts and eager anticipation for all that HE is going to do!
22 The blessing of the Lord—it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].
