I love the Parable of the Sower that we read today in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan from Mark 4. I especially love that the seed is ALWAYS good and ALWAYS ready to bear much fruit! What makes the difference in the results seen in this parable? It is the condition of the SOIL! This is also vitally important in speaking the Word of God! Just speaking, declaring or confessing the Word of God will NOT produce results. We must be speaking, confessing and declaring the WORD, and doing it BOLDLY into GOOD SOIL! The soil is our heart (spirit /soul combination) and the condition of it depends completely on OUR diligence to prepare it! We must be praying, praising, and meditating on the Word that we already know in order to be prepared to receive more! THEN we must be DOES of THIS from verse 24:
24 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.
AMEN! There are no 'down times' when it comes to our attention to the Word of God! We CANNOT grow without it! So, let's pick up our game and become OBSESSED with JESUS and HIS Word! When we do, then that Word will be IN us in abundance and we will get ourselves in position to ask what WE will, and it WILL be done! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Say The Word":
