I have a message directly from God for YOU today! It comes from Galatians 1 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today! Verse 15:
15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, KJV
This was Paul, explaining how He was called to the ministry, even before he was born! Yes, this same Paul who had persecuted the Church so savagely, now KNOWS that God had called him way before that road to Damascus experience! The Amplified Bible says this:
15 But when He, Who had chosen and set me apart [even] before I was born and had called me by His grace (His undeserved favor and blessing),
Just in case you were beginning to think, 'But that's Paul! He was called to be an Apostle! That's not me!', I have news for you! 2 Corinthians 5 tells us that every single born again believer has been called (from before we were born) to the full time ministry! Many will never have a pulpit ministry, or even a very public one, but we are ALL called! 2 Corinthians 5:17-20:
17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! 18 But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. 19 It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). 20 So we are Christ's ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ's personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God. AMP
There you go! God KNEW that you would receive His wonderful, precious and gracious GIFT of Salvation! Now He desires YOU to share that life-giving message with everyone HE brings across your path! YOU have been thoroughly equipped and gifted to share this message in a very unique and special way to reach those whom others may never be able to reach! Let's make it our determined purpose to be found faithful! WE are not responsible for their decisions, just for giving them the opportunity to make them! In every thing else, we are FREE!
