Shalom,

We read Hebrews 11 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan today. Many of you know that this is the 'faith' chapter! A word study of "faith" shows us that this is the Greek word "pistis", which means: persuasion, credence, conviction of  truthfulness, reliance upon, trust. That is the meaning of general faith! Hebrews 11:1 tells us exactly what true Bible faith is!

11 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Faith has substance! When we have true Biblical faith, it is as real to us as though we actually had the confirming or substantiating paperwork proving that what we are believing for is actually ours! Romans 10:17 tells us how to get this faith!

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. KJV

AMEN! The ONLY way to develop the kind of faith that will be able to move mountains (Mark 11:23) is to continually and consistently 'hear' the Word concerning your particular mountain. How much is enough? When you begin to know that you know that you know that it belongs to you, then hear a little more and start speaking into being what you are praying for! Thank and praise the Lord for what He has done, even before you see it, because THAT is how faith operates! Romans 4:16-17:

16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickens the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were. KJV

So, keep going after that 'title deed' for what you need! When the faith rises, speak it out and stand steadfast and you WILL see the manifestation of it! It takes WORK and it takes PATIENCE, but the end results are well worth it! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Worship with "Faithfulness":

Shalom in Him!
