Today's "Faith Food" by Kenneth E. Hagin is a great reminder for YOU to use whenever the enemy tries to convince you that you just aren't good enough to do the work and ministry that God has called you to! Remember that EVERY born again believer is in the full-time ministry of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18)! That is telling everyone that JESUS already reconciled them to God through His death, burial and resurrection and the only left for them to do is to receive Him! Then they, too, will be in the full-time ministry! Here is "Faith Food":
Blotted Out
"I, even I, am He that blots out your transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember your sins" (Isaiah 43:25).
"I guess I'm just paying for the life I lived before I got saved," a minister who was having a hard time once said to me.
Many Christians, like that minister, are defeated, permitting things to take place in their lives, because they think that's the way it has to be. They don't know the difference between repentance and doing penance. They try to do penance for their past life. But in reality, since they repented of their sins, God has no knowledge that they've ever done anything wrong!
"I blotted out your transgression," God said, "for My own sake." God didn't do it for your sake, but for His own sake. "I will not remember your sins," He promised. If God doesn't remember them, why should you? You shouldn't!
When you were born again, you were redeemed from the penalty of sin. If you had to go on paying for your wrongdoing, you'd have to go to hell when you died, because that's part of the penalty too. However, thank God, we are redeemed not only from the power of sin, but also from the penalty of sin. Jesus took our place. He suffered the penalty of sin.
Confession: When I repented, my Heavenly Father blotted out my transgressions. He does not remember my sins. Therefore, I won't remember them either. And I won't remind Him of them.
The moment you confess those sins that you commit AFTER the New Birth (1 John 1:9) HE forgives and cleanses you from anything that would keep you from fellowship with Him. Do so, then RUN back into His presence and stay! You and I were never meant to live apart from Him, EVER! Refuse to let satan steal one moment of time that you can spend in intimate fellowship with the One, True God of the Bible! HE is your Source of all Wisdom, knowledge, favor and anointing! No wonder the devil tries so very hard to keep you from it! GO! and never back down! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with "Where You Are":"I guess I'm just paying for the life I lived before I got saved," a minister who was having a hard time once said to me.
