In case you've missed it, I have some GREAT good news for you today! Look at Psalm 149:4:
4 For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation and adorn the wretched with victory.
When the Word of God says that God takes pleasure in us, it is the Hebrew word "ratsah", which means: be pleased with, to accept favorably, to delight in. GOD delights in YOU, just the way you are! AND, He continues to make you better, WHEN you hear and obey! AMEN! Our expected response is found in verses 5-6:
5 Let the saints be joyful in the glory and beauty [which God confers upon them]; let them sing for joy upon their beds. 6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats and a two-edged sword in their hands,
God is well pleased with every member of His family, but let's choose to NOT stay "just the way we are". Let's choose to become more and more like Jesus every day! WE can because HE does the work (Philippians 1:6)! THANK YOU, JESUS! Here is Hillsong Chapel with "His Glory Appears":
