Those of us who have had the privilege to read through the Bible many times are very familiar with David, son of Jesse, who was the King of Israel. We know of his heroic deeds and of his sins (plural!). We also know that God called Him this in Acts 13:22b:


22b ...I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will. KJV


David was not perfect, but He was a man who went all out for God! When he made mistakes he repented (changed his thinking to agree with God) and went hard after God's heart again! God does not want us to try to be perfect. He wants us to go after knowing Him with everything within us! Check out Philippians 3:10 in the Amplified Bible and make it YOUR goal to want that same thing! THAT is going after the heart of God! Amen!
