Shalom,
We begin again in proverbs today. If you have EVER read the Book of Proverbs, you know that the major theme of this book is "wisdom"! The words "wise" and "wisdom" appear 125 times or more. I found this interesting and helpful from the Bible Exposition Commentary:
Biblical wisdom begins with a right relationship with the Lord. The wise person believes that there is a God, that He is the Creator and Ruler of all things, and that He has put within His creation a divine order that, if obeyed, leads ultimately to success. Wise people also assert that there is a moral law operating in this world, a principle of divine justice which makes sure that eventually the wicked are judged and the righteous are rewarded. Biblical wisdom has little if any relationship to a person's IQ or education, because it is a matter of moral and spiritual understanding. It has to do with character and values; it means looking at the world through the grid of God's truth.
Proverbs 1:7:
7 The reverent and worshipful fear of the LORD is the beginning and the principal and choice part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; but fools despise skillful and godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline.
The fear of the Lord is a reverence and respect for Who He is! The only way to continue to operate in the reverential fear of the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible is to continue daily in His Word and in fellowship with Him. Make this your lifestyle and Wisdom will flow from YOU! Verse 33:
Here is a wonderful worship song by Hillsong called "Lord Of Lords":
Revelation 7 shows 144,000 Jews from the 12 tribes of Israel being sealed by Almighty God for protection as they minister during the Tribulation. Notice that in this Joseph is named as a whole tribe and Levi has a part in this! God has a definite plan and purpose for everything that He has ever done, and it is always motivated by His great love for mankind! We then see the multitude that come to believe in Jesus during the Tribulation worshiping Almighty God at His throne! They had to endure much to get to this time. This is all future, so those whom you love still have time to receive HIM now! Make sure that you are buying up every opportunity to preach the Gospel to them! They may not like it now, but they will be forever thankful that they made it and escaped the tribulation!
Shalom in Him!
