We've shown from the Word of God that it is God's will for us to be healed. We've also shown that our healing was provided for us at the cross. That Jesus was not only made sin with OUR sin, but also sick with OUR sickness and disease. By His stripes, we WERE healed. That's past tense. It's a done deal! Then we showed different ways to receive healing for our bodies. We talked about calling for the elders of the church to anoint us with oil. We talked about receiving healing with the remembrance of our covenant through communion. We saw in yesterday's post that health and life are found in His Word. Today I want to share the best way to receive healing for your physical body.
John 15:7 (KJV)
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
The Amplified bible says:
John 15:7 (Amplified)
7If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
The Word of God tells us here that when His Word "lives" in us, we speak and it is done! How do we get the Word to "live" in us? We covered that yesterday when we discussed meditating on the Word. When we spend time in and with the Word, the Holy Spirit, our teacher, will make the Word come "alive" to us! It will begin to "live" in us, and then we can be doers of John 15:7. But it does take time. How much time? As long as it takes! Are you willing to pay the price? Then you will be able to walk in divine health. Another Scripture we want to look at is this:
Mark 11:23 (KJV)
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
The Amplified Bible says:
Mark 11:23 (Amplified)
23Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
When we really believe that what WE say will happen, then it WILL happen! Remember that this is Jesus speaking here! When we have the same faith in our own words that Jesus does, then we WILL speak and it WILL happen! Of course faith in our own words will only come as His Word becomes our word! That happens through meditation! So get busy reminding yourself of these and any other healing Scriptures you can find. Get them inside and let the Holy Spirit make them real to you. Then begin to speak to your own mountains of sickness, disease, weakness, infimity, poverty, lack or any other work of darkness and expect them to MOVE! They HAVE to! Jesus says so!!!
