Shalom,

In our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today we are reading John 15. Verses 4-5 say this:
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. KJV

The word "abide" here is the Greek word "meno", which means: to stay, remain, tarry, not to depart, to continue to be present, to stand fast, to stay in force. To "abide in Him" means to stay aware of HIS presence in YOU! As a born again believer, HE lives IN YOU, by His Spirit. Without HIM, we can do nothing, and without Him we ARE nothing. He IS the LIFE and LIGHT of our new creation being! It is past time for us to be fully aware of this, and look and act like it! AMEN! He goes on to say this in verse 7:

If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

That is our goal and vision! To so truly represent HIM in this earth that people are without excuse if they continue to reject JESUS! We are reminded of this life as a living witness and testimony to Him in 1 John 4:17:

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. KJV

AMEN! Don't short change who HE has made you to be. We are here for a very short time compared to all of eternity! Our life here SHOULD affect the eternities of everyone we come in contact with. Are YOU ready to make a lasting impact on your loved ones and the other people in your realm of influence? If so, then begin to be a DOER of the verses we looked at today! HE is simply waiting on US so that He can confirm what we say and do, in obedience to His Word, with signs, wonders and miracles, drawing ALL people unto Himself! AMEN! Here is Hillsong United with "Shape Of Your Heart":

Shalom in Him!
