Psalm 97:1 and 9:
1 The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad! 9 For You, Lord, are high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.
No matter WHAT happens on the face of the earth, OUR God IS God! And He always will be! AMEN! here is a promise and a command for the people of God! Verses 11-12:
11 Light is sown for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart [the irrepressible joy which comes from consciousness of His favor and protection]. 12 Rejoice in the Lord, you [consistently] righteous (upright and in right standing with God), and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.
Throughout history, those who have opposed the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible have ALWAYS come to their just end! Don't get caught up in talking about how bad things in the world are, or how bad the people of the world are. WE are called to rejoice in all the good that our God has done and to proclaim the great Good News that ALL can come to Him to be saved! Remember, it is the GOODNESS of God that will lead people to "repent", to change their thinking to agree with God and become HIS (Romans 2:4)! Amen!
