Shalom,

Psalm 55 is a Psalm of David probably written at the time of the rebellion of Absalom when David's most trusted counselor betrayed him. In many of the Psalms of David we see him cry out to God with and about the problem. Then he reminds himself of all that God has done before, which builds faith in him again. Then he makes his declaration of faith in the One, True God to deliver him. Then he praises Him! He does all of the above in this Psalm, also! We will just look at the 2 verses today. Verse 22:

22 Cast your burden on the LORD [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).

That was David's faith speaking! Do YOU believe that He will never allow YOU to slip, fall, or fail? When you develop that kind of faith, trust, and confidence in the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible, nothing will ever stop you from stepping out in faith again! Then we see this in verse 23b:

23b But I will trust in, lean on, and confidently rely on You.

Renew your mind with the Word of God until you can say the same thing, and MEAN it! AMEN!

In Mark 5 we read again of the woman with the issue of blood. Verses 25-29:

And there was a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 And who had endured much suffering under [the hands of] many physicians and had spent all that she had, and was no better but instead grew worse. 27 She had heard the reports concerning Jesus, and she came up behind Him in the throng and touched His garment, 28 For she kept saying, If I only touch His garments, I shall be restored to health. 29 And immediately her flow of blood was dried up at the source, and [suddenly] she felt in her body that she was healed of her [distressing] ailment.

She declared what she believed, and it was done for her! Sounds a little like David! The next verses are what we really want to look at today. Verses 30-34:

30 And Jesus, recognizing in Himself that the power proceeding from Him had gone forth, turned around immediately in the crowd and said, Who touched my clothes? 31 And the disciples kept saying to Him, You see the crowd pressing hard around You from all sides, and You ask, Who touched Me? 32 Still He kept looking around to see her who had done it. 33 But the woman, knowing what had been done for her, though alarmed and frightened and trembling, fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 35 And He said to her, Daughter, your faith (your trust and confidence in Me, springing from faith in God) has restored you to health. Go in (into) peace and be continually healed and freed from your [distressing bodily] disease.

When the woman touched the clothes of Jesus, IN FAITH, she received her healing! Jesus did not minister to her in any conventional way. He didn't even see her! Jesus Himself told her that it was HER faith that had made her healed and whole! When she touched Jesus, He FELT it! Not His clothes being touched, but the force of her faith pulling the healing anointing out of Him! We need to meditate on that until it becomes so real to us that we can recognize and be aware of that SAME Anointing that lives IN US! Remember 2 Corinthians 4:7:

7 However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.

As a born again believer, YOU have that same treasure! Cherish that Treasure, learn about that Treasure, and share that Treasure! THAT is what HE is in you for! HALLELUJAH!

Isaiah 23 continues the prophecies to the nations with Tyre. Isaiah 24 begins with prophecies for the whole world which will take place in the last days. People in Isaiah's time thought that they were close to those times! How much MORE are we! Buy up every opportunity to tell everyone you know about the One, True, Most High, Living, Almighty God of the Bible and His wonderful Plan of Salvation! Preach the Gospel of Jesus of Nazareth, making it so simple a child can understand! To help you with that, you need to have the joy of a child yourself! Here are some songs from the Donut Repair Club "On Tour". These are songs that my grandchildren LOVE, and I think you will, too!

Shalom in Him!
