Shalom,

Psalm 31:23-24 should greatly encourage you in these last moments of the Last Days!

23 O love the LORD, all you His saints! The LORD preserves the faithful, and plentifully pays back him who deals haughtily. 24 Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the LORD!

I even like the Message Bible, too:

23 Love GOD, all you saints; God takes care of all who stay close to Him, But he pays back in full those arrogant enough to go it alone. 24 Be brave. Be strong. Don't give up. Expect GOD to get here soon.

If you haven't been faithful, then repent (change your thinking to agree with God) and get right back in fellowship with Him! THEN rejoice in these verses!

1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 is MY prayer for YOU!

12 And may the Lord make you to increase and excel and overflow in love for one another and for all people, just as we also do for you. 13 So that He may strengthen and confirm and establish your hearts faultlessly pure and unblameable in holiness in the sight of our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) with all His saints (the holy and glorified people of God)! Amen, (so be it)!

The word "establish" is the Greek word "steerizoo", which means: to make stable, place firmly, set fast, to strengthen, make firm. That is more needful for the Church today than almost any other thing! Become unmovable by the world as you stand strong on His Word! AMEN!

I found this in the Bible Exposition Commentary: Old Testament concerning Joel:

If there had been newspapers in Joel's day, the headlines might have read:

LOCUSTS INVADE THE LAND!
NATION FACES SEVERE ECONOMIC CRISIS
No End to Drought in Sight

These could be OUR headlines today! The Word of God, especially the Prophets, usually refers to more than one time period! Some of this was to happen shortly after he prophesied and some things not until the Last Days! There are some verses we CAN use to encourage ourselves in the Lord!  Joel 1:3 is an instruction that WE should take to heart concerning the Word of God:

3 Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.

The most important thing that we can teach our children is to love the LORD and HIS WORD! AMEN!  Then Joel 2:28-29 refers to the days we are living in! Pay attention! And then Joel 3:17:

17 So shall you know, understand and realize that I am the LORD your God, dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain. Then shall Jerusalem be holy, and strangers and foreigners [not born into the family of God] shall no more pass through it!

What a great day THAT will be! Here is a great picture of Jerusalem right now. Just meditate for a moment on what you see here that will NOT be there then! Glory to God! JESUS IS LORD!

Shalom in Him!
