Shalom,

Proverbs 25:11-12 have to do with the words that we speak:

11 A word fitly spoken and in due season is like apples of gold in settings of silver. 12 Like an earring or nose ring of gold or an ornament of fine gold is a wise reprover to an ear that listens and obeys.

One of the commentaries that I looked at says that the word for apples could actually be oranges and that the settings of silver are like little silver serving trays! I really like that analogy, too! Speaking a "word in season" (Isaiah 50:4) is like giving someone nourishing and wholesome fruit, and presenting it on a beautiful serving platter! Words are important, and timing is important! Be filled with the Word of God, and led by the Spirit of God, and you will be a tremendous blessing to those you minister to! This same commentary also said that the earring and the ornament actually make a set of matching jewelry that go beautifully together. What a great example of the beauty of someone sharing the Word of God, under the Anointing of God, with one who respects and receives that Word with the intention of obeying it! THAT is how the Word of God was meant to be handled here on earth! In all aspects, it is the beautiful and powerful Word of God that is the focus of these verses! Treasure the Word! HE treasures YOU! AMEN!

Philippians 2:14-16:

14 Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God] and questioning and doubting [among us], 15 That you may show yourselves to be blameless and guiltless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom you are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the [dark] world, 16 Holding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the Word of Life, so that in the day of Christ I may have something of which exultantly to rejoice and glory in that I did not run my race in vain or spend labor to no purpose.

THAT is the very reason we are HERE! To be bright lights IN the world and TO the world, holding the Word of God, the Word of Life (Zoe, life as God has it inside Himself!) out to them! The most valuable gift we could ever give is the Word of God! Here is the Hillsong song :We The Redeemed"

1 Chronicles 23:1:

1 WHEN DAVID was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.

David was old and "full of  days", the Hebrew word, "saba`", which means: to be satisfied, to be fulfilled, to have in excess. In other words, it was high time for David to step down and let Solomon take over! Then David assembled the priests and gave them their duties. I am SO very blessed to be living in a time when we have so much knowledge available to us! I AM a priest in my own home! I need to be a Great one! So do YOU!

Shalom in Him!
