Shalom,

Today I want to share Andrew Wommack's daily devotional.

God Is Our Comfort

John 14:16 'And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;'

Remember that Jesus was saying these things to His disciples so that they would not be offended. Jesus is speaking to His disciples about the Holy Spirit, who is the Comforter. The ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer is the front line of defense against the devil and his devices of defeat. The phrase, 'The God of all comfort' carries the idea of a divine comforter who encourages, refreshes, strengthens, aids, assists, and is an ever present help in the time of need. The ways that God chooses to comfort are not always the same. He may deliver you or remove the cause of the affliction, or He may comfort you with words giving you a hope for the future. He also uses people to share their faith with you by prophesying. He sends fellow-laborers to serve and strengthen you by the ministry of the Word, and uses the body of Christ as a channel to comfort you, using prayer.

The point is that the source of all comfort is God, no matter what channel He chooses to use.

In 2 Corinthians 12:9, God revealed to Paul that His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Paul, who had experienced God's comfort in a way that perhaps no other man has, now reveals how the Lord accomplished this. It was through the power of the Holy Spirit. True Christianity is not the absence of trials, but the strength and comfort of Jesus through the Holy Spirit, that will bring us through to the other side.

Even a strong metal container with a vacuum inside will be crushed just by normal atmospheric pressure. But that same container, with an equal or greater amount of pressure inside, will be just fine. Likewise, an individual who is void of God's comfort inside will be crushed by the pressures of this life. But a believer who takes advantage of the comfort available to him through the Holy Spirit, can withstand anything. Victory is not dependent on the pressures without, but rather on the comfort within.

I LOVE this! And here to encourage you to continue looking to JESUS for your comfort is Brandon Lake with "Gratitude":

Shalom,

Today I want to share this wonderful "Daily Grace Inspirations" devotional from Joseph Prince.

Study the Bible to See Jesus Unveiled

Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Luke 24:25–27

After Jesus rose from the dead, He ministered comfort to two sad and discouraged disciples who were walking to a village called Emmaus. From the way they spoke, you could tell that they did not believe that Jesus would be resurrected.

They said that they were hoping that it was Jesus who was going to redeem Israel, so they were utterly discouraged when He was crucified. They were also astonished when certain women of their company, who had gone to Jesus’ tomb, told them that they could not find His body.

In today’s scripture, the two indictments that Jesus spoke to those disciples are the same ones He speaks to the body of Christ today. The first is that we are “foolish,” that is, we are suffering from ignorance and the lack of knowledge of and revelation from the Word of God. The second is that even when we do have knowledge of the Word, we are “slow of heart to believe.”

Now, our Lord Jesus is so loving that He would not just tell the disciples what their problem was without giving them the solution. So immediately, He began to expound the Scriptures.

He started at Moses, which refers to the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy), before moving on to the rest of the Old Testament, which would include the major and minor prophets. He expounded to them “the things concerning Himself” in every single book, showing them pictures of Himself throughout the Scriptures. What a tremendous time of Bible study it must have been!

This tells us that the Bible is all about Jesus. Jesus is in the Old Testament concealed and in the New Testament revealed.

Jesus began to unveil to the disciples that He was the promised Seed in the Garden of Eden who would crush Satan’s head. He would have moved on to share about how each of the five Levitical offerings depicted different aspects of His one perfect work on the cross. He would have shared about the high priest and how the high priest’s garments spoke of Himself as our perfect representative before God.

Jesus would even have unveiled Himself in all the typologies embedded in the Old Testament stories. There are no insignificant details in the Bible and everything in it is there to point to Jesus.

In expounding the Scriptures to the two disciples, I believe that Jesus showed us how we are to study the Bible today. He does not want us to read the Bible to find out what to do and what not to do. He wants us to study the Bible to see Him and all the things in the Scriptures concerning Himself.

When you begin to see Jesus in every page of the Bible and to search out all the hidden gems and truths about Jesus, the Bible comes alive. Faith comes alive in your heart to strengthen your heart and to receive your breakthrough when you see your Savior and His saving grace toward His people.

Jesus’ solution for those who are “foolish” and “slow of heart to believe” is for them to study the Bible to see more of Him. At the end of the disciples’ journey, the Bible says that they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” (Luke 24:32). My friend, when Jesus is unveiled in the Scriptures, our hearts will burn within us with the warmth of His love.

Whatever your need is today, whether it is physical, emotional, mental, social, or financial, your solution is found in a greater revelation of Jesus. When Jesus is unveiled in all His magnificence, the poor will experience provision, the weak will be made strong, and the sick will be healed.

I pray that you will make it your priority to read the Word and hear preaching that unveils the beauty and grace of your Savior. Your life, finances, marriage, and your entire household will be blessed beyond measure.

AMEN! I LOVE this! Getting to know JESUS through His Word and by His Spirit is the most rewarding decision that I have ever made! I hope that you are doing this, too! You will NEVER regret that decision! Here is Hillsong with one of my favorite songs called "Every Breath":

I LOVE today's "Daily Grace Inspirations" devotional by Joseph Prince!

Sound the Ram’s Horn

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. John 19:30

I see a new generation of God’s people emerging as the grace revolution sweeps the globe. The truth is that only grace, found in the person of Jesus Christ, can lead us into the promised land.

Moses, who represents the law, is dead (Joshua 1:2). And only Joshua (Yehowshua in Hebrew), a type of Christ, can bring us into the promised land. We can’t enter it based on the obsolete Mosaic covenant. We can’t inherit it based on our efforts to be justified through keeping perfectly the Ten Commandments.

We can inherit it only through faith in the grace of our Lord Jesus. It is not by our works that we inherit God’s promises, but by Christ’s perfect, finished work.

How did the wall of Jericho that stood between God’s people and the promised land come crashing down? Did God’s people have to use their own might to push down the wall? Did they have to fight an army? No, at just the blast of the rams’ horns and with a great shout, God caused the wall to crumble.

The ram’s horn is a beautiful picture of the death of our Lord Jesus. The ram had to die for the horn to be obtained. The sounding of the ram’s horn is thus a proclamation of our Lord’s death and finished work. At the cross, when Jesus had paid fully for all our sins with His blood, He proclaimed, “It is finished!”

It is the shed blood of Jesus that brings us out of captivity and into the promised land. What the ten plagues of Moses could not do, the blood of Jesus did. It was the blood of Christ, typified by the lambs’ blood applied to the lintels and doorposts of the Hebrew homes, that caused Pharaoh, a type of Satan, to finally release God’s people.

God threw down His trump card—the blood of His Son! So it was His Son, the true Lamb of God, who brought them out of Egypt, and it was also His Son who brought them into the promised land. It is all Christ and Christ alone!

Why couldn’t the miracles of Moses free God’s people? Because they were miracles of judgment. Judgment and condemnation will not free you, only the love and grace of our Lord Jesus, Who shed His blood at Calvary for you, can do that.

My friend, are you hearing about the judgments of the law today, or are you hearing the ram’s horn being blown? One condemns and brings death, the other liberates and gives life. One causes you to remain in bondage to sin and live a defeated life, the other empowers you to break free and reign in life.

Today, make sure you are hearing the true gospel that makes bondages and addictions crumble and fall away like the walls of Jericho did!

Faith Is Measurable

When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. — MATTHEW 8:10

A centurion came to Jesus on behalf of his sick servant. When Jesus said, “. . . I will come and heal him” (Matthew 8:7), the centurion answered, “. . . speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed” (v. 8). Jesus said to him, “. . . Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee . . .” (v. 13).

Turning to His disciples, Jesus said, “. . . I have not found so GREAT faith, no, not in Israel” (v. 10). Therefore, it is possible for a person to develop great faith.

On the other hand, an example of little faith is seen when Peter began to sink after having walked on the water. Jesus chided Peter, saying, “. . . O thou of LITTLE faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” (Matthew 14:31).

If faith can be great, and faith can be little, then faith is measurable!

Here are some scriptures that prove faith is measurable: Growing faith (2 Thessalonians 1:3); weak faith (Romans 4:19); strong faith (Romans 4:20); rich faith (James 2:5); full of faith (Acts 6:5); perfect faith (James 2:22); unfeigned faith (1 Timothy 1:5); shipwrecked faith (1 Timothy 1:19); overcoming faith (1 John 5:4).

Confession: My faith is growing. My faith is measuring up to a great faith, strong faith, rich faith, perfect faith, unfeigned faith, overcoming faith, I am full of faith!

Shalom,

Here is Jerry Savelle Ministries devotional for today! SO GOOD!

Perfect Peace

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3 NKJV

You will notice that God has given us a promise, but we must meet His condition. The promise is: He will keep you in perfect peace. The condition is: IF your mind is stayed on Him. The mind plays a vital part in you walking in perfect peace no matter your circumstances.

I’m not talking about mind power. I am talking about the power of God’s Word working in a faith-filled heart and a renewed mind.

As you renew your mind to God’s Word and fill your heart with faith, you will begin to approach every situation in your life without worry or fear.

“And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. But seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well” (Luke 12:29 & 31, NIV).

Your mind can not be full of negative voices, worry, or fear when you keep your mind on God. It is a choice you have to make, regardless of your feelings. Put God first place in all you do and think, and you will walk in perfect peace.

Confession: I will keep my mind on God and full of His Word. I refuse to allow worry or fear to be a part of my life. I trust You Lord and follow after You above anything else.

I LOVE today's "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E.Hagin! SO MUCH TRUTH! It NEVER gets old!

The Same Faith

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. — 2 CORINTHIANS 4:13

Paul wrote, “We HAVING the same spirit of faith . . . .”

He didn’t say, “trying to have,” or “praying for,” or “hoping for”; he said, “having”! Having what? The same spirit of faith. And what kind of faith is that? The kind that (1) believes, and (2) therefore speaks.

Isn’t that the same kind of faith Jesus is talking about in Mark 11:23? The kind that (1) believes in the heart, (2) says with the mouth, and (3) then it comes to pass?

Yes! That’s the same spirit of faith! And Second Corinthians 4:13 says that we have it!

Confession: I have the same spirit of faith. I believe and therefore I speak. I have a measure of the God-kind of faith. I have a measure of the kind of faith that created the worlds in the beginning. I have a measure of mountain-moving faith.

Shalom,

Today we read Psalm 105 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan and I LOVE verses 1-5:

1 O give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His doings among the peoples!
2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them.
3 Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord [as their indispensable necessity].
4 Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore.
5 [Earnestly] remember the marvelous deeds that He has done, His miracles and wonders, the judgments and sentences which He pronounced [upon His enemies, as in Egypt].

Make this your practice EVERY DAY! You will find your faith continually rising and the enemy will have a very hard tim getting you down! Try it! You'll see! Here is Brandon Lake with "That's Who I Praise":

Shalom,

Today I want to share the devotional from Jerry Savelle Ministries:

Face The Problem

My heart is severely pained within me, and the terrors of death have fallen upon me. 6So I said, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.” Psalm 55:4 & 6 NKJV

God doesn’t want you to run away from any situation in defeat. Victory is always His plan for you.

Running away from problems and troubles is always society’s mentality: “Oh, if I could just leave this place. If I could just get in the car and go.” Looking for the easy way out of trouble and misery doesn’t work. Running from the problem that causes those feelings won’t do any good. If you avoid dealing with the issue now, it will be even more difficult to stand and face it later.

People often quit their job because of someone they work with, only to end up working with someone worse at their next place of employment. God wants you to learn to face your problems and overcome them by applying His Word. He wants you to learn to work with unpleasant co-workers by overcoming evil with good. When they blame you for something you didn’t do, bless them, and help them.

Being a doer of the Word isn’t always easy, but it always works.

Although David wanted to fly away and be at rest, he changed his speech and declared a few lines later “As for me, I will call upon God, and the LORD shall save me” (Psalm 55:16 NKJV).

God doesn’t want you to leave any situation in defeat. If it is God’s time to move you on, He won’t use negative circumstances to lead you. Instead of running from the problem, overcome it. And then move on.

Confession: I choose to face the problems before me today. I will apply the Word of God to them, and I will overcome them. I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save
me.

JESUS IS GLORIFIED

And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. — Acts 19:17

In the past few Sparkling Gems, we’ve seen how the pagan population of the city of Ephesus was very preoccupied with the magical power of secret names, spells, and incantations. It was very significant to the citizens of the city that the demon possessing the demoniac, who was apparently well known in Ephesus, knew the name of Jesus. No one else had ever been able to help this demon-possessed man. But the evil spirit that had taken control of this tormented individual actually spoke and admitted to knowing the name of Jesus. This would have signaled to the pagan population that the name of Jesus contained great power. And the fact that the demon even acknowledged Paul would have also given the apostle a higher level of authority in the eyes of the people.

As a result of this event, a new preeminence was immediately given to the name of Jesus in Ephesus, and Paul’s influence increased. Acts 19:17 describes the impact this incident had on those who heard about it: “And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.”

The Bible doesn’t specify how the news of this event quickly reached both the Jewish and Greek communities in Ephesus, but we know that it did. Perhaps there were eyewitnesses of the event who told others about it. Or perhaps those who had hired the seven sons of Sceva reported this event to friends, who then spread the news to others. Maybe there were firsthand witnesses of the incident who heard the screams of the exorcists and saw them running naked from the house.

Regardless of how the news was spread, it made a significant impression on both Jews and Greeks. Both groups were impressed that the name of Jesus was known by the evil spirit that inhabited this man. As a result, this verse states that “…fear fell on them all…”

The Greek word for “fear” is phobos, which in this case describes a reverential fear, hush, or amazement that literally fell on the residents of the city. It brought a speechless sense of awe to the entire community — and a heightened awareness of the name of Jesus. This is why the verse goes on to say, “…and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified” (v. 17).

It must be noted that Luke referred here to the “Lord Jesus,” not just to “Jesus.” The word “Lord” is the Greek word kurios, meaning lord or supreme master. This violent episode between the demon and the seven sons of Sceva had demonstrated that Jesus alone has the power and might to demand respect of evil spiritual forces. By calling him “Lord Jesus” in this context, Luke revealed to us that Jesus came out of the ordeal as the Champion. As a result, His name was “magnified” — enlarged, expanded, and maximized — throughout the city.

Thus, the failed attempt of the seven exorcists was an event used by God to bring attention to the name of Jesus and to escalate the pace of the work for His Kingdom in Ephesus. Large numbers of conversions took place as people turned from their occult deeds with genuine acts of repentance.

There is no question that the power of God was being unleashed in the heart of this dark pagan city and that its foundation, which had been established on the bedrock of idolatry, was being shaken to its very core. Life in Ephesus was being eternally impacted by the power of the Gospel, and many who lived in the region would never be the same again.

This is what happens when the power of God is in manifestation! It shakes people to their core and they know without any doubt that they have come into contact with the highest level of supernatural power.

Doesn’t this make you want to see the power of God manifest in your city, in your church, or in your ministry? Nothing brings glory to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ more than His divine power being unleashed through faith in full operation!

AMEN! THIS is what we should all be expecting! Be ready! He just may want to use YOU! Here is Brandon Lake with "Count 'Em":

Faith Dealt

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. — ROMANS 12:3

“Faith — that’s what I want!” many people say to me. “And I’m praying that God will give it to me.”

If that’s what you’re doing, you’re wasting your time. It would do no more good to pray that God will give you faith than it would to twiddle your thumbs and recite “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” Praying for faith is lost motion and wasted time, because every believer already has a measure of the God-kind of faith. You don’t have to get it. You don’t have to pray for it. You don’t have to fast for it. You don’t have to promise to do better and be good to get it. You already have it!

In this verse in Romans, Paul wasn’t writing to sinners, but to believers. He said, “. . . I say . . . to every man that is among you [not to every man in the world], . . . God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”

All believers have faith! God gave it to them!

Confession: God dealt to me the measure of faith. I have a measure of the God-kind of faith! God already gave it to me! I have it now!

A Demonic Recognition

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
— Acts 19:15

The evil spirits in the demon-possessed man in Acts 19 were very familiar with both Jesus and the apostle Paul. However, the demons did not recognize the seven sons of Sceva who were trying to exercise authority over them. We can know this from the original Greek in Acts 19:15, where the evil spirit responded to the seven exorcists: “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?”

The words translated “know” in those two phrases — “Jesus I know” and “Paul I know” — are two distinctly different words in the Greek text. In the phrase, “Jesus I know,” the word “know” is the Greek word ginosko. The word ginosko has a wide range of meanings, depending on the context in which it is used. The foremost meaning of ginosko was to recognize a person or a thing, to acknowledge, or to have a full comprehension about the person or thing being acknowledged. There is no question that the use of the word ginosko here means the wicked spirit that inhabited this man admitted, conceded, and affirmed that the name “Jesus” was well known to it. Like all evil spirits, this demon was familiar with Jesus — it fully comprehended and acknowledged who Jesus was — and had possessed this knowledge for a long time. So when the evil spirit said, “Jesus I know,” it was saying, in effect, “Jesus I know and fully comprehend with absolute certainty…”

On the other hand, in the phrase, “and Paul I know,” the word “know” is translated from a completely different Greek word. It is the word epistamai, which describes a knowledge obtained by outward observation. In other words, Paul’s reputation was growing as one who had authority over demons, and it had captured the attention of the spirit world in Ephesus. Local demons were “tuning in” to observe Paul’s activities.

The word epistamai implicitly reveals that the dark spirit world in Ephesus had recently become familiar with Paul’s ministry. The apostle’s activities were a great threat to the demonic forces over that city, and they were taken aback by his spiritual power. Therefore, the evil spirits of the territory were scrutinizing this newcomer and carefully watching him move through each situation as one who possessed great authority. This word epistamai also implies that these demonic spirits were spying and conducting surveillance on this newcomer who had invaded their dark stronghold — so they could stay aware of what Paul was doing and look for ways to oppose him. The word epistamai therefore carries the idea: “…and Paul I know because I have recently become familiar with him by carefully following and observing his activities.”

But then the evil spirit asked the seven sons of Sceva an interesting question: “But who are ye?” This question should be understood in the context of the entire verse. The reader should understand the text to mean: “Jesus I know and fully comprehend with absolute certainty, and Paul I know because I have recently become familiar with him by carefully following and observing his activities. But I have no idea who you are! In fact, we know nothing about you! We don’t recognize you or your authority at all!”

One would think that demonic forces would recognize exorcists who regularly delved into occult practices; however, the evil spirit in the man didn’t recognize these exorcists at all. But oh, what a glorious thought that this spirit knew the name of Jesus and knew Paul because Paul was in Christ and was an authorized user of Jesus’ name!

You fit that description too! If you are in Christ, you are an authorized user of the name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit! James 2:19 says that demons “tremble” when they hear that name. As we saw yesterday, the word “tremble” would be better translated that they are “spooked” or “terrified” when they hear the name of Jesus spoken with bold faith by an authorized user!

If you are a Christian indwelt by the power of the Holy Spirit, you have all power in Heaven and earth given unto you (see Matthew 28:18). You are authorized to speak on behalf of Jesus and to take authority over any evil presence that comes your way. And it must obey!

AMEN! KNOW who YOU are - IN HIM! Then you will understand the authority that YOU have to speak HIS WORD in every dealing with the enemy! Here is Tauren Wells with "Take It All Back":

Pull Yourself Together

Yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. — Romans 6:13-22

I cannot save and sanctify myself; I cannot atone for sin; I cannot redeem the world; I can not make right what is wrong, pure what is impure, holy what is unholy. That is all the sovereign work of God. Have I faith in what Jesus Christ has done? He has made a perfect Atonement, am I in the habit of constantly realizing it? The great need is not to do things, but to believe things. The Redemption of Christ is not an experience, it is the great act of God which He has performed through Christ, and I have to build my faith upon it. If I construct my faith on my experience, I produce that most unscriptural type, an isolated life, my eyes fixed on my own whiteness. Beware of the piety that has no presupposition in the Atonement of the Lord. It is of no use for anything but a sequestered life; it is useless to God and a nuisance to man. Measure every type of experience by our Lord Himself. We cannot do anything pleasing to God unless we deliberately build on the presupposition of the Atonement.

The Atonement of Jesus has to work out in practical, unobtrusive ways in my life. Every time I obey, absolute Deity is on my side, so that the grace of God and natural obedience coincide. Obedience means that I have banked everything on the Atonement, and my obedience is met immediately by the delight of the supernatural grace of God.

Beware of the piety that denies the natural life, it is a fraud. Continually bring yourself to the bar of the Atonement — where is the discernment of the Atonement in this thing, and in that?

Simply keep reminding yourself that the WORK was GOD'S and the RESULTS are OURS because of JESUS! Here is Brandon Lake with "The Great I Am Can":

Remember Your Citizenship

Earth is temporary. Eternity is permanent. You are a pilgrim here. This is a journey, a passage, a season. The future is far more suited for you. You are a citizen of the New Jerusalem. You are an ambassador, a representative on earth of your Heavenly Father. Don't ever forget it.

Overcomers are guaranteed a permanent place in the Temple of God. His name is engraved upon you. You are His property and perpetuation of His kingdom. Act like the royalty you are.

"Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write down upon him my new name."  (Revelation 3:12)

The Name

. . . Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ALL POWER [authority] IS GIVEN UNTO ME in heaven and in earth. GO YE THEREFORE . . . . — MATTHEW 28:18-19

What effect would it have on your life if a wealthy man were to give you a legal document, telling you to use it to supply every one of your needs?

Yet we have been given something even greater than that! God has given us the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus! And that Name has authority in this earth. The use of that Name is not a matter of faith, actually, but rather it is a matter of assuming your legal rights in Christ, taking your place as a son of God, and using what belongs to you. His Name belongs to you!

We have a right to use that Name against our enemies. We have a right to use that Name in our praise and worship. We have a right to use that Name in petitions. Praise God, that Name belongs to us!

That Name has been given to us that we might carry out the will of God the Father in this dispensation in which we live. The Early Church used this authority. They acted for Jesus in His stead. And we are to use His Name and act in His stead today!

Confession: All authority in Heaven and earth resides in the Name of Jesus. The use of that Name and its authority have been given to me. I have a right to use the Name of Jesus!

AMEN! You and I have the RIGHT, the PRIVILEGE and the RESPONSIBILITY to use HIS NAME to receive ALL that HE has ALREADY provided for us! LET'S DO IT! Here is Benajmin William Hastings with "That's The Power":

Shalom,

Today I want to share with you from Joseph Prince's "Daily Grace Inspirations" devotional!

The Secret to Receiving Your Miracle

I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. Galatians 3:5 NLT

I attended a conference years ago and remember hearing about all kinds of things that we had to do to work the miracles of God. For instance, we were told that we had to pray long prayers.

Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not saying that there is no place for long prayers.

I love going to my Abba to just spend time talking to Him. I have also taught our church about the importance of praying, especially praying in the Spirit regularly. But is the secret to having miracles take place in your life found in praying, or even in fasting forty days and forty nights, as others say?

Some people think they can twist God’s arm with their efforts and convince Him that they deserve a breakthrough or miracle from Him. Do you really think that because you have fasted or prayed for long periods of time, God is impressed with you and has to answer your prayers?

Come on, my friend, the only reason God answers our prayers today is the finished work of Jesus. Don’t be deceived any longer. God is a debtor to no man. No man can deserve God’s blessings through his self-efforts. It is not about our sacrifices. It is about His sacrifice!

All God sees is the work of His Son on the cross, and by virtue of Jesus, all His blessings and His miracle-working power are yours when you believe in His Son.

Read today’s scripture carefully for what Paul said to the Galatians who were depending on their self-efforts. Then, consider all the people who received miracles from Jesus during His ministry on earth.

Not a single one of them deserved it. They did nothing to earn their miracles. They simply received their miracles because of His grace.

A few years ago, the Lord spoke to me and said, “When My people see My grace, I see their faith.” Do you remember the woman with the issue of blood who had been bleeding for twelve years?

According to the law of Moses, she was considered unclean and was not supposed to be out in public places, much less touch anyone. Yet, the Bible tells us that “when she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment” (Mark 5:27).

She must have heard the wonderful testimonies of the people Jesus had touched and healed, and these accounts opened her eyes to see Jesus as a gracious Savior overflowing with mercy and compassion.

The result? Faith ignited in her and the moment she touched the hem of His garment, she received her miracle.

Was she ever conscious of her faith? No, she was conscious only of Jesus and His grace. When she saw His grace, He turned around and saw her faith. With great tenderness, He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well” (Mark 5:34).

My friend, you do not have to try to conjure up faith for healing or finances. Faith for any breakthrough or miracle in your life springs forth when you see His grace.

He died so that you might live! You did not deserve it, but He still did it for you.

See Jesus on the cross for you—the demonstration of His unconditional love and amazing grace. And when you see His grace, you will have unconscious faith to receive your miracle!

Subject to Change

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

Don't center your attention on what you can see in this natural, physical sense realm. Everything you see is temporal and subject to change. So, put your faith in the unseen eternal realm. The things which are eternal are not subject to change.

God's Word is eternal and it contains 7,000 promises to cover any circumstance you'll ever face. And, no matter what happens in this shifting, changing world you live in, those promises will forever be the same.

No matter how bad your body feels, the Word will always say, "By His stripes you were healed" (1 Peter 2:24). No matter how bad your bank book looks, the Word will always say, "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

Don't settle for the meager existence the world says you can have. Lay hold of what the Word says you can have. Center your attention on the eternal truths of God and look not to the things which are seen. After all, they're subject to change!

AMEN!!! DARE to BELIEVE and RECEIVE all that GOD has provided for you! Here is Brooke Ligertwood and Brandon Lake with "Honey In The Rock":

Shalom,

Today I want to share this devotional from Jerry Savelle Ministries!

Seize Opportunity Quickly

And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize—a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion]. Matthew 11:12 AMPC

Has God put a strong desire in your heart for something specific, yet it seems too big to grab hold of? My advice to you is this: seize your God-given opportunity!

Webster’s dictionary defines seize as to take possession of suddenly and by force, or attack, or a strike. Why is it important to take possession of something suddenly? Because opportunities don’t wait for the faint hearted, the slow-to-move, or the coward.

When an opportunity arises that seems just a little out of your grasp, go to God in prayer. If you have peace about it, then go for it—God will help you. Jesus described just such a kingdom opportunity like this: “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” (Matthew 13:44 NKJV).

When God presents you with an opportunity, be aggressive. Be enthusiastic and committed. Continue to seek God for His wisdom and favor in how to proceed. And as you continue to make your confession of faith, God will meet you with His grace and favor.

Confession: I give thanks for the God-given dreams and desires He has placed in my heart. As each new opportunity presents itself, I will go to God in prayer to receive His peace and provision, and then I will seize each opportunity quickly, and for the glory of God.

Fellowship

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. — 1 CORINTHIANS 1:9

The highest honor God has conferred upon you is to be a joint-fellowshipper with God the Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit in carrying out God’s plan for the redemption of the human race.

By virtue of the New Birth, you became related to the Creator of the universe! You became God’s child. You have a relationship with Him. But relationship without fellowship is a lifeless thing. It’s like marriage without love or fellowship.

Fellowship with God is the mother of faith. And God has called you individually into fellowship with His Son.

Confession: God has called me into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ. I will walk in fellowship and communion with Jesus. I will talk with Jesus. I will work with Jesus. I am a joint-fellowshipper with God the Father, with Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Spirit in carrying out God’s great plan of redemption for the human race.

AMEN! I hope that YOU are taking time DAILY to WORSHIP the ONE Who loves YOU most and best! Here, to help you with that, is Brandon Lake with "Praise You Anywhere":

Shalom,

Today I want to share another of my favorite verses of Scripture!

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The Greek word for 'fear' here is "deilia" and it means timidity! As one who has always been rather shy around people, especially crowds of people all watching and listening to me, I am always really blessed by the TRUTH of this verse! I LOVE it from the classic Amplified Bible!

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. AMP

I do NOT want to be a coward, especially when it comes to sharing the Word of God with those that HE sends me to, or that HE send to me! Thats is why this verse is so powerful! HE SAYS that HE has given me, instead, the spirit of POWER, LOVE, and a CALM and WELL-BALANCED mind, and DISCIPLIN and SELF-CONROL! Since HE has already provided that for me, I REFUSE to be intimidated by the enemy when it comes to sharing the GOSPEL! How about you? Here is a song to get excited about by Brandon Lake called "Count 'Em", referring to the MIRACULOUS POWER OF OUR GOD! Let's SHARE HIM!

Shalom,

Today I want to share one of my favorite portions of Scripture!  Psalm 150:6:

"Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)".

Whenever you see the word 'let' in the Bible, realize that YOU have a CHOICE to make! WILL you? This is a command! What are we to do? "Praise the Lord"! Praise is the Hebrew word "halal" which means: to be clear, to shine, to make a show, to boast, to be clamorously foolish, to rave, to celebrate, to 'stultify'. Stultify means: to cause to appear or be stupid, foolish, or absurdly illogical. In other words, be bold enough that others MAY think and say that of you as YOU glorify JESUS! I LOVE this! JESUS means more to me than any other person because HE saved my life! And not only  mine, but my entire family and household! I can NEVER repay HIM for all thet HE has done for ME! BUT, I WILL TRY WITH EVERYTHING THAT IS WHITHIN ME! How about you? Here, to help you with that, is Brandon Lake with "That's Who I Praise":
