We read Proverbs 19 in today's "Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan" and I am sharing some of the verses that really blessed me! 

8 He who gains Wisdom loves his own life; he who keeps understanding shall prosper and find good.

Then we have these verses:

20 Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come. 21 Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand.

And then another of my favorites is found in verse 23:

23 The reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it rests satisfied; he cannot be visited with [actual] evil.

This last verse is my favorite, BY FAR! The fear of the LORD does NOT mean to be afraid of Him1 It means to be in awe of HIM! To worship HIM, honor HIM and obey HIM! ANYTHING that HE tells us to do is for our benefit, so that HE can BLESS us and we can walk IN THE BLESSING! And we CANNOT be visited with ACTUAL EVIL!!! I believe that this means that even though we will deal with certain situations and circumstances, we will be protected in HIS PRESENCE, so that we can LAUGH at the enemy and all of his fruitless, useless, powerless, and empty threats! WE ARE who GOD SAYS WE ARE! Here is Brandon Lake with "Coat of Many Colors":
