  Shalom,

Today I want to share a very vital TRUTH from the Word of God through our Spoken Word Church website devotional.

Remember, one cannot multiply. Develop people skills. Listen. Learn. Absorb from others. Ask questions. Document answers.

Success is a collection of relationships. Whatever you are willing to settle for, determines the quality of your future.

"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

AMEN! WE are to work together and support each other in out time here on this earth! Take every opportunity to BE a BLESSING to all of those around you! GOD will make it allk work out for OUR good when WE obey HIM! HALLELUJAH! Here is Hillsong  with "Grace To Grace":

 Shalom,

Today I want to share again from "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers

The Absoluteness Of Jesus Christ

He shall glorify Me. — John 16:14

The pietistic movements of to-day have none of the rugged reality of the New Testament about them; there is nothing about them that needs the Death of Jesus Christ, all that is required is a pious atmosphere, and prayer and devotion. This type of experience is not supernatural nor miraculous, it did not cost the passion of God, it is not dyed in the blood of the Lamb, not stamped with the hall-mark of the Holy Ghost. It has not that mark on it which makes men say, as they look with awe and wonder – “That is the work of God Almighty.” That and nothing else is what the New Testament talks about.

The type of Christian experience in the New Testament is that of personal passionate devotion to the Person of Jesus Christ. Every other type of Christian experience, so called, is detached from the Person of Jesus. There is no regeneration, no being born again into the Kingdom in which Christ lives, but only the idea that He is our Pattern. In the New Testament Jesus Christ is Saviour long before He is Pattern. To-day He is being despatched as the Figurehead of a Religion, a mere Example. He is that, but He is infinitely more; He is salvation itself. He is the Gospel of God.

Jesus said, “When He, the Spirit of truth, is come,…He shall glorify Me.” When I commit myself to the revelation made in the New Testament, I receive from God the gift of the Holy Spirit Who begins to interpret to me what Jesus did and does in me subjectively all that Jesus Christ did for me objectively.

The most important TRUTH for people to 'get' is that Christianity is NOT, nor had it EVER been, a religion! Christianity is the supernatural transformation of sinners into saints by believing and recieving JESUS as LORD and personal SAVIOUR! The moment we do that, the Holy Spirit of the Living God comes inside of us, recreates our previously DEAD human spirits into the image of God and makes us that NEW CREATION of 2 Corinthians 5:17! It is a new relationship with the God of the Bible where we have become HIS children, able to have intimate fellowship with Him! it IS the most exciting life we could ever hope to live! I hope that YOU are not 'religious' but a new creation! If you would like to know more, please check out our Spoken Word Church website through the link on the left!  Shalom,

We read Psalm 149 in today's Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan. I have enjoyed the Psalms this time through the Bible Plan more than ever before! I have been learning about the POWER of praise and worship and this Psalm shows this!

1 Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, praise Him in the assembly of His saints! 2 Let Israel rejoice in Him, their Maker; let Zion’s children triumph and be joyful in their King! 3 Let them praise His name in chorus and choir and with the [single or group] dance; let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre! 4 For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation and adorn the wretched with victory. 5 Let the saints be joyful in the glory and beauty [which God confers upon them]; let them sing for joy upon their beds.Let the high praises of God be in their throats and a two-edged sword in their hands, 7 To wreak vengeance upon the nations and chastisement upon the peoples, 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron, 9 To execute upon them the judgment written. He [the Lord] is the honor of all His saints. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)

Notice in the underlined parts the emphasis that the Lord puts on praise! ALL types of praise and worship! Singing, dancing, with instruments, which would also include those which every person possesses, the hands (clapping)! Worship, thanksgiving and praise is something that is DUE to our MAJESTIC GOD! But, it is also one of our greatest weapons! Notice that verse 7 tells us that AND the declaring of God's Word will 'wreak vengeance on the nations' (the evil ones)!Verse 8 tells us that our praises and God's Word will also bind the evil kings and leaders with 'chains and fetters of iron'! This DOES refer to actual physical restraints AND spiritual ones, too! The Word of God has much to say about the evil doers who have been harming God's people; murdering unborn babies; planning, plotting, scheming to harm, harass, and even ruin and kill God's people. HE has declared their just end! BUT, out of His great mercy, He will still allow them to REPENT and turn to HIM! SO, our part is to continue to use the weapons of OUR warfare and trust HIM to carry it all out in HIS perfect timing. One of the promises of God to His people who will hear obey HIM is that what we have lost or had stolen will be restored! More than before! HALLELUJAH! THIS is the time and THESE are the days of GREAT REVIVAL as the Bridegroom is SO ready to come and claim HIS BRIDE! BE ready! STAY ready! And TRUST HIM COMPLETELY! He has NEVER let us down and HE WILL NOT START NOW! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with "Lord Send Revival":

VERSE 1: Peace like a river wash over me Immerse me in water as deep as the sea Hide me in love Your healing embrace Peace like a river wash over me CHORUS As I worship Your majesty I worship Your holy Name Jesus my everything All that I am is Yours VERSE 2: Come Holy Spirit rain down on me Break open the heavens and drench the unseen (oh) Pour out Your presence as I pour out Your praise Come Holy Spirit Lord have Your way BRIDGE 1: Open the heavens Fling wide the gates Flood every heart with mercy Pour out Your presence Inhabit our praise As we cry holy holy TAG: (Whoa whoa) As we cry holy holy (Whoa whoa) BRIDGE 2: Lord send revival Lord send it now A move of Your Spirit Heaven break out Come now in power Cover this land Like You’ve done it before Would You do it (oh come on) again

 Shalom,

Today's "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers is SO GOOD! I want to share it here for you all to check it out!

The Consecration Of Spiritual Energy

By whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. — Galatians 6:14

If I brood on the Cross of Christ, I do not become a subjective pietist, interested in my own whiteness; I become dominantly concentrated on Jesus Christ’s interests. Our Lord was not a recluse nor an ascetic, He did not cut Himself off from society, but He was inwardly disconnected all the time. He was not aloof, but He lived in an other world. He was so much in the ordinary world that the religious people of His day called Him a glutton and a winebibber. Our Lord never allowed anything to interfere with His consecration of spiritual energy.

The counterfeit of consecration is the conscious cutting off of things with the idea of storing spiritual power for use later on, but that is a hopeless mistake. The Spirit of God has spoiled the sin of a great many, yet there is no emancipation, no fullness in their lives. The kind of religious life we see abroad to-day is entirely different from the robust holiness of the life of Jesus Christ. “I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” We are to be in the world but not of it; to be disconnected fundamentally, not externally.

We must never allow anything to interfere with the consecration of our spiritual energy. Consecration is our part, sanctification is God’s part; and we have deliberately to determine to be interested only in that in which God is interested. The way to solve perplexing problems is to ask – “Is this the kind of thing which Jesus Christ is interested in, or the kind of thing the spirit that is the antipodes of Jesus is interested in?”

AMEN! Ultimately, the ONLY thing that brings TRUE joy to the born again believer is serving HIM! Find out what God wants you to do, and then DO IT! Find out HOW God wants something done, and DO IT HIS WAY! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "No Reason To Hide":

 Shalom,

Today's "Sparkling Gems FromThe Greek - Volume 2" by Rick Renner is very interesting to any student of the Word!

WHY DID JESUS PROMISE A WHITE STONE?

…To him that overcometh will I give…a white stone…. — Revelation 2:17

For years, I carried a small white stone in my pocket. In times when I felt discouraged, I would reach into my pocket to touch that stone and remind myself that Jesus promised a “white stone” to those who overcome. Of course, a stone has no magical powers, but that little stone reminded me of what the Lord said when He promised a “white stone” in Revelation 2:17 to those who overcome.

So what is the significance of the “white stone” that Jesus promised?

Let’s delve into the Greek language and history today to see what we can find about how “white stones” were used at the time this was written by John on the isle of Patmos and why Christ promised a “white stone” to those who overcome.

In the original text of Revelation 2:17, the wording in the phrase “a white stone” is ordered differently in Greek. The Greek wording actually reads “psiephon leuken.” The word psiephon refers to a stone or pebble, and leuken means white. So rather than “a white stone,” it should be literally translated, “A stone, a white one.” This lays a particular emphasis on the color of the stone, so we must examine the primary way “white stones” were used in early New Testament times.

When a Roman trial concluded, and it was time for a panel of judges to vote for the defendant’s innocence or guilt, the judges registered their votes by casting a black or white stone into an urn. A black stone symbolized a vote for guilt, and a white stone denoted a vote for innocence. When all the votes had been cast, the stones were emptied from the urn and counted one by one. If there were more black stones, it meant the judges had found the defendant guilty; if there were more white stones, it meant they had found the individual to be not guilty.

Therefore, when Christ offered “a stone, a white one” to overcomers — placing a definite emphasis on the word white — it meant: “I have reviewed all the evidence, and I have judged you not guilty!”

Jesus’ message to that church, and to us today, was that regardless of who they had been or what they had done before they came to Christ, what mattered now was who they had become in Christ. Viewing them in light of His blood, Jesus had cast “a stone, a white one” in their direction, affirming their full acquittal and complete release from their past sinful lives and memories.

Therefore, when the devil — or any person, for that matter — tries to throw a stone of judgment against us by mentally tormenting us about past actions we’ve already been forgiven for, we may boldly answer, “Christ has already cast His vote. He has found me NOT GUILTY!” Regardless of any actions we may have committed in the past, Jesus’ blood has purged our con- science from dead works to serve the living God (see Hebrews 9:14).

There was another way the ancient Greeks also used white and black stones for vote-casting. One of the greatest privileges in Greek society was to vote about civic issues in a public election. In these elections, people used white and black stones to cast their votes, similar to the way such stones were used in legal trials. Votes were customarily registered by casting a black or white pebble into large vases that were set up throughout the city at designated locations. When the time for voting had concluded, the pebbles were separated into white and black piles and then counted. A white stone represented a person voting in favor of some issue, whereas a black stone represented a person was voting against it.

Thus, when Christ promised “a stone, a white one” to the believers who overcame, He was not only announcing freedom, forgiveness, and acquittal from a past sinful life, but He was also telling them: “My vote is for you. I am putting My full support behind you.”

How powerful this is when we realize what the “white stone” means in Revelation 2:17. It declares that Christ has found us not guilty and that He is putting His full support behind you and me. Christ is voting for us!

Years ago, I actually preached on this subject in the city of Moscow — then we distributed white stones to the whole congregation. I urged people to carry them in their pockets or purses as a reminder that if they were washed in the blood of Christ, Jesus has found them not guilty. And regardless of what the devil tries to tell them, Christ’s blood has freed them from the past, and they are free! Furthermore, I encouraged them when life seemed to be getting tough to let that white stone remind them that if no one else was voting for them, Christ was voting for them and, therefore, they were going to make it!

Today I want to tell you that if you have been forgiven and washed in the precious blood of Christ, you are forgiven — period. The devil may try to hassle you in your mind and torment you with past memories that God Himself doesn’t remember. But just realize that Christ reviewed all the evidence, and since His blood was applied to your life, He has found you completely blameless and free from shame.

Furthermore, if it doesn’t feel at the moment like anyone else is for you, just remember that Christ Himself has cast His vote for you. Romans 8:31 tells us, “…If God be for us, who can be against us?” My friend, if Jesus has cast His vote for you — and He has! — you can throw off all despair and start rejoicing, because the one vote that really matters has been cast in your favor!|

There are many things that can be tools to keep the TRUTH of God's Word ever before our understanding! Allow Holy Spirit Who lives IN you to give those ideas for making the Word come alive! He IS there for such a time as THIS! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with "World Outside Your Window":

 Shalom,

We have been instructed by the Spirit of God to engage in Warrior Praise! Remember that our God inhabits the praises of His people! The warfare that we engage in is in the spiritual realm and with spiritual weapons and the most powerful of those are the high praises of God! A portion of one of the older songs that we sang in church goes like this:

The Victory is mine when the battle is the Lord's - Hosanna, Hosanna!
No enemy can stand when His praise goes forth - Hosanna, Hosanna!

Since the Lord has told us that HE is actively working on our behalf in these very troubling times, WE can praise Him with everything within us, knowing that VICTORY is imminent! HALLELUJAH! SO, here to help us all to remember the great GOODNESS of GOD, is all of today's Psalm from our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan! Psalm 145:

[A Psalm] of praise. Of David.

1 I will extol You, my God, O King; and I will bless Your name forever and ever [with grateful, affectionate praise].
2 Every day [with its new reasons] will I bless You [affectionately and gratefully praise You]; yes, I will praise Your name forever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord and highly to be praised; and His greatness is [so vast and deep as to be] unsearchable.
4 One generation shall laud Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts.
5 On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wondrous works I will meditate.
6 Men shall speak of the might of Your tremendous and terrible acts, and I will declare Your greatness.
7 They shall pour forth [like a fountain] the fame of Your great and abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of Your rightness and justice.
8 The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in mercy and loving-kindness.
9 The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of things created].

10 All Your works shall praise You, O Lord, and Your loving ones shall bless You [affectionately and gratefully shall Your saints confess and praise You]!
11 They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power,
12 To make known to the sons of men God’s mighty deeds and the glorious majesty of His kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
14 The Lord upholds all those [of His own] who are falling and raises up all those who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all wait for You [looking, watching, and expecting] and You give them their food in due season.
16 You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing with favor.
17 The Lord is [rigidly] righteous in all His ways and gracious and merciful in all His works.
18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him sincerely and in truth.
19 He will fulfill the desires of those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.

20 The Lord preserves all those who love Him, but all the wicked will He destroy.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord; and let all flesh bless (affectionately and gratefully praise) His holy name forever and ever.

Our God is SO GOOD! There is NONE like HIM! Tell Him so! Tell Him in your own words, or in those of the psalmist David! Speak this Psalm to Him! SING this Psalm to Him! And then, after you do that, sing THIS song to Him with your whole heart! Hillsong's "Like Incense":

 Shalom,

Today's "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E. Hagin is another of my favorites!

Thank You, Father

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. — COLOSSIANS 1:12-14

The New Covenant tells us we should be giving thanks unto the Father because He has made us able to be partakers of something. Of what? “. . . Of the inheritance of the saints in light”!

The Amplified Bible translates verse 13 as, “[The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness . . . .”

God Himself has delivered us from the control of Satan! Satan’s kingdom is the kingdom of darkness. God’s kingdom is the kingdom of light. The Father has made us able to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us out from under the control and dominion of darkness. Satan has no control over us. He cannot dominate us.

And we are told to thank God for that!

Confession: Thank You, Father, for making me fit to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light. Thank You for delivering me out of the authority of darkness. Thank You for transferring me into the kingdom of Your dear Son — the kingdom of light.

AMEN! Never forget that GOD is ALWAYS FOR YOU! Satan is ALWAYS against you! Concentrate on what God and His Word is saying and you won't be able to be tricked into accepting what the devil has planned! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with "Keep On":

Shalom,

Today I want to share this vital message from "My Utmost For His Higest" by Oswald Chambers:

Shallow and Profound

Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. —1 Corinthians 10:31

Beware of allowing yourself to think that the shallow aspects of life are not ordained by God; they are ordained by Him equally as much as the profound. We sometimes refuse to be shallow, not out of our deep devotion to God but because we wish to impress other people with the fact that we are not shallow. This is a sure sign of spiritual pride. We must be careful, for this is how contempt for others is produced in our lives. And it causes us to be a walking rebuke to other people because they are more shallow than we are. Beware of posing as a profound person— God became a baby.

To be shallow is not a sign of being sinful, nor is shallowness an indication that there is no depth to your life at all— the ocean has a shore. Even the shallow things of life, such as eating and drinking, walking and talking, are ordained by God. These are all things our Lord did. He did them as the Son of God, and He said, “A disciple is not above his teacher…” (Matthew 10:24).

We are safeguarded by the shallow things of life. We have to live the surface, commonsense life in a commonsense way. Then when God gives us the deeper things, they are obviously separated from the shallow concerns. Never show the depth of your life to anyone but God. We are so nauseatingly serious, so desperately interested in our own character and reputation, we refuse to behave like Christians in the shallow concerns of life.

Make a determination to take no one seriously except God. You may find that the first person you must be the most critical with, as being the greatest fraud you have ever known, is yourself.

I LOVE this exhortation! I wish that I had heard this early on in my born again life! I remember certain times of intense 'competition' among believers to show ourselves 'spiritual' or successful in 'witnessing'! We are not to WITNESS, we are called to BE a witness to the Love and Mercy and Grace and character of GOD! Our very livves should draw people to HIM because they see HOPE in us! THAT is why we are exhorted to be READY! 1 Peter 3:15:

But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledge Him] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully.

AMEN! THAT is a WITNESS! And here to encourage you in YOUR witness walk is Hillsong with "No Reason To Hide":

Shalom in Him!

 Shalom,

Today I want to share THIS from "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers:

“It is Finished!”

I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. —John 17:4

The death of Jesus Christ is the fulfillment in history of the very mind and intent of God. There is no place for seeing Jesus Christ as a martyr. His death was not something that happened to Him— something that might have been prevented. His death was the very reason He came.

Never build your case for forgiveness on the idea that God is our Father and He will forgive us because He loves us. That contradicts the revealed truth of God in Jesus Christ. It makes the Cross unnecessary, and the redemption “much ado about nothing.” God forgives sin only because of the death of Christ. God could forgive people in no other way than by the death of His Son, and Jesus is exalted as Savior because of His death. “We see Jesus…for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor…” (Hebrews 2:9). The greatest note of triumph ever sounded in the ears of a startled universe was that sounded on the Cross of Christ— “It is finished!” (John 19:30). That is the final word in the redemption of humankind.

Anything that lessens or completely obliterates the holiness of God, through a false view of His love, contradicts the truth of God as revealed by Jesus Christ. Never allow yourself to believe that Jesus Christ stands with us, and against God, out of pity and compassion, or that He became a curse for us out of sympathy for us. Jesus Christ became a curse for us by divine decree. Our part in realizing the tremendous meaning of His curse is the conviction of sin. Conviction is given to us as a gift of shame and repentance; it is the great mercy of God. Jesus Christ hates the sin in people, and Calvary is the measure of His hatred.

AMEN! THANK YOU, JESUS, for BECOMING sin with MY SIN, and the sin of all the world, so that WE could receive SALVATION, REDEMPTION and ADOPTION by YOUR death, burial and resurrection! Never have I EVER found a LOVE SO GOOD! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with THAT song!

 Shalom,

Today I want to share from Andrew Womack's daily devotional!

Hide The Word In Your Heart

Matthew 26:75 'And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.'

There are several Greek words used for 'word.' The Greek word used here is RHEMA and it literally means, 'a spoken word; an utterance, a saying, but specifically a spoken word appropriate for the situation.' It's not the Bible lying on your coffee table that makes the enemy flee, but the Word of God hidden in your heart, activated by the power of the Holy Spirit, and spoken in the appropriate situation. It's similar to what Jesus says in John 6:63, that 'the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.'

The words that we speak from the written Word of God are empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Word by itself doesn't make us free. It is the Word we know and speak that will deliver us (John 8:32).

Why is the Word so effective? Because it is the WORD of God. It has authority, because it is indeed the WORD of God. God's Word supersedes all authority of the church, of reason, of intellect, and even of Satan. That's why it is so effective.

In Luke, chapter four, when Jesus was tempted of the devil for forty days, it was the Word of God that Jesus used to defeat the enemy at His temptation.

Jesus constantly met His temptation by quoting from God's Word as He repeatedly stated the phrase, 'It is written.' Likewise, the Christian soldier must avail himself of God's Word by placing it in his heart so that the Holy Spirit may bring it forth at the appropriate time to accomplish a complete and total victory.

When WE make God's Word our 'final authority' then we give GOD something to work with! Psalm 138:2 tells us how God sees His Word!

I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!

When WE give the Word of God THAT place of authority in our lives, then we are in agreement with HIM! Mark 16:20 tells us what GOD does when WE speak HIS WORD into every situation!

20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it).

Here, to encourage you in speaking God's Word is Hillsong with "Say The Word":

 Shalom,

John is my favorite Gospel and these are some of my favorite portions! John 17:14-17:

14 I have given and delivered to them Your word (message) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world [do not belong to the world], just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world (worldly, belonging to the world), [just] as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.

The Word of God IS the ONLY real TRUTH there is! Line everything in your life up next to the Word of the Living God! Whatever does not line up, leave it off! Meditate day and night in the Word and treat it as your FINAL AUTHORITY! IT IS! Verses 20-23 are also very encouraging, as JESUS was praying for US!

20 Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching, 21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. 22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: 23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.

THIS is why we are really here! Ambassadors of Heaven showing God's Kingdom to a lost world so that they will seek HIS face and be saved! Let's be about our Father's business, doing our job well so that WE can hear "WELL DONE" and THEY can know HIM! AMEN! Here is Hillsong UNITED with "GO":

 Shalom,

I love today's readings as we follow our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan! Psalm 139 is a favorite of very many people! Here are verses 1-12:

1 O Lord, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me. 2 You know my downsitting and my uprising; You understand my thought afar off. 3 You sift and search out my path and my lying down, and You are acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word in my tongue [still unuttered], but, behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. 5 You have beset me and shut me in—behind and before, and You have laid Your hand upon me. 6 Your [infinite] knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high above me, I cannot reach it. 7 Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me and the night shall be [the only] light about me, 12 Even the darkness hides nothing from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You.

Although early on it may seem a little scary to our flesh nature to realize that GOD knows us even better than we know ourselves, when we realize that HE only and ever wants GOOD for us, then we can rejoice in the TRUTH that HE knows us so well!  There is not one things about us that HE doesn't already know full well! And with THAT knowledge come the ANSWERS to every question we will ever have, the solution to every problem we will ever have and the WAY OUT for every situation!HALLELUJAH! Then comes our most well known and LOVED of Scriptures in verses 13-16:

13 For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery]. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.

HE KNEW ME! HE KNEW YOU! And no one knows you or loves you more! Verses17-18:

17 How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 If I could count them, they would be more in number than the sand. When I awoke, [could I count to the end] I would still be with You.

HALLELUJAH! Meditate every day on the awesomeness of the GOD Who loves YOU with everything within Him! Do YOU love HIM with that same intensity? If not, WHY NOT? If you DO, then KEEP IT UP! THAT is the key to true prsoperity and success in every realm of life! Here is Hillsong with "What A Beautiful Name":

 Shalom,

Today's reading from our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan includes Psalm 138. I LOVE this Psalm!

Psalm 138

[A Psalm] of David.

1 I will confess and praise You [O God] with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praises to You.

2 I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!

3 In the day when I called, You answered me; and You strengthened me with strength (might and inflexibility to temptation) in my inner self.

4 All the kings of the land shall give You credit and praise You, O Lord, for they have heard of the promises of Your mouth [which were fulfilled].

5 Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord and joyfully celebrate His mighty acts, for great is the glory of the Lord.

6 For though the Lord is high, yet has He respect to the lowly [bringing them into fellowship with Him]; but the proud and haughty He knows and recognizes [only] at a distance.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.

8 The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, endure forever—forsake not the works of Your own hands.

When we really meditate on verse 2, we will see that the SOURCE of all of the power of God IS the Word of God! The WORD give the NAME it's POWER! Make increasing your meditation time a priority and you will find yourself flying right into the New Year ready for ANYTHING! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with "Never Have I Ever":

 Shalom,

Today I want to share from Andrew Womack's devotional.

Healing Is An Expression Of God's Mercy

Luke 22:51 'And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.'

Jesus often healed people by touching them, and others received their healing as they touched Jesus. You can transmit the power or the anointing of God through the laying on of hands (Mark 16:18; Hebrews 6:2). The virtue of God can even be transmitted to objects and then brought to the person who needs healing or deliverance.

Jesus provided physical healing as well as forgiveness of sins. Many scriptures mention the healing of our bodies in conjunction with the forgiveness of our sins. Healing is an expression of God's love and compassion for our physical man. Healing miracles also draw men to God to get their spiritual needs met. Physical healing acts like a bell to get man's attention so that the Lord can minister to the inner man as well.

Healing has been purchased for us as part of the atonement of Christ. The Lord would no more refuse to heal us than He would refuse to forgive us. That does not mean that we deserve healing - we don't. It is a gift from God, just as salvation is a gift from God (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8). We don't deserve to have our sins forgiven. We cannot demand salvation from the Lord, but we can expect it. Likewise, healing has been purchased for us through the atonement of Christ. Healing belongs to us, but it is still the mercy of God that provides healing. Every act of healing is an act of mercy.

AMEN! There IS no greater love than HIS love for US! It is all-encompassing! It is everlasting! And the TRUTH that it is UNDESERVED makes it even sweeter! GOD loves US! He can't get enough of us and of our intimate, one on one fellowship with HIM! Develop that very same attitude toward YOUR fellowship with HIM! HE IS PRICELESS! Appreciate HIM!  Shalom,

Today I want to share from Jerry Savelle's devotional!

SEIZE OPPORTUNITY QUICKLY

And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize—a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion] (Matthew 11:12 AMP).

Has God put a strong desire in your heart for something specific, yet it seems too big to grab hold of? My advice to you is this: seize your God-given opportunity!

Webster’s dictionary defines seize as “to take possession of suddenly and by force, or attack, or a strike.” Why is it important to take possession of something suddenly? Because opportunities don’t wait for the faint hearted, the slow-to-move, or the coward.

When an opportunity arises that seems just a little out of your grasp, go to God in prayer. If you have peace about it, then go for it—God will help you. Jesus described just such a kingdom opportunity like this: “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” (Matthew 13:44 NKJV).

When God presents you with an opportunity, be aggressive. Be enthusiastic and committed. Continue to seek God for His wisdom and favor in how to proceed. And as you continue to make your confession of faith God will meet you with His grace and favor.

Confession: I give thanks for the God-given dreams and desires He has placed in my heart. As each new opportunity presents itself, I will go to God in prayer to receive His peace and provision, and then I will seize each opportunity quickly, and for the glory of God.

AMEN! Always remember that GOD wants you  to succeed even more than you do yourself! he is ALWAYS FOR YOU! Count on it! Here are Hillsong Kids with "Voices of Freedom":

 Shalom,

There is such an important exhortation in today's "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers!

Faith And Experience

The Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me. — Galatians 2:20

We have to battle through our moods into absolute devotion to the Lord Jesus, to get out of the hole-and-corner business of our experience into abandoned devotion to Him. Think Who the New Testament says that Jesus Christ is, and then think of the despicable meanness* of the miserable faith we have — “I haven’t had this and that experience!” Think what faith in Jesus Christ claims — that He can present us faultless before the throne of God, unutterably pure, absolutely rectified and profoundly justified. Stand in implicit adoring faith in Him, He is “made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.” How can we talk of making a sacrifice for the Son of God! Our salvation is from hell and perdition, and then we talk about making sacrifices!

We have to get out into faith in Jesus Christ continually; not a prayer meeting Jesus Christ, nor a book Jesus Christ, but the New Testament Jesus Christ, Who is God Incarnate, and Who ought to strike us to His feet as dead. Our faith must be in the One from Whom our experience springs. Jesus Christ wants our absolute abandon of devotion to Himself. We never can experience Jesus Christ, nor ever hold Him within the compass of our own hearts, but our faith must be built in strong emphatic confidence in Him.

It is along this line that we see the rugged impatience of the Holy Ghost against unbelief. All our fears are wicked, and we fear because we will not nourish ourselves in our faith. How can any one who is identified with Jesus Christ suffer from doubt or fear! It ought to be an absolute psalm of perfectly irrepressible, triumphant belief.

*mean: as used here, something or someone ordinary, common, low, or ignoble, rather than cruel or spiteful.

I LOVE that the entire message here is about our selling out to JESUS completely, whole-heartedly and continuously! When WE do THIS, then we will be in position for our lives to be this:  It ought to be an absolute psalm of perfectly irrepressible, triumphant beliefAMEN!!! Here, to help you with this, is Hillsong with "What A Beautiful Name":

 Shalom,

I LOVE the Gospel of John SO much! Today three TRUTHS really stand out to me! First is this from verses 17-18:

17 For this [reason] the Father loves Me, because I lay down My [own] life—to take it back again. 18 No one takes it away from Me. On the contrary, I lay it down voluntarily. [I put it from Myself.] I am authorized and have power to lay it down (to resign it) and I am authorized and have power to take it back again. These are the instructions (orders) which I have received [as My charge] from My Father.

NO ONE 'took' Jesus' life from Him! HE LAID IT DOWN! HE gave His own life WILLINGLY for US out of His GREAT LOVE! I hope that you remind yourself daily how very great this LOVE for you is! Then we see THIS in verses 27-29:

27 The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all [else]; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father’s hand.

Notice that JESUS said that NONE who receive Him will ever lose the ETERNAL LIFE that HE freely give to US! Never let anyone steal this TRUTH from you and cause you to live in fear and doubt, struggling to stay 'accepted'. YOU ALREADY ARE! FOREVER! HALLELUJAH! Now if you have never received JESUS as your Saviour, then this is NOT true of you, YET! If this is you, is there any reason that you can't receive Him NOW? Pray this prayer from your own heart and KNOW this great peace!

Almighty God, I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ came to this earth, died on the cross for me, was raised from the dead, and is now seated at Your right hand. I accept and receive Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour and I invite Him to come into my heart and become Lord over my life. I thank You now Father, for welcoming me into Your family. You are my Father. I am Your child. Jesus is my Lord! Amen.

AMEN! That brings us to this great and powerful promise from the lips of JESUS! John 10:10:

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

There IS no better life than THIS and no greater love than HIS! For YOU! Here to encourage you  in your rejoicing over Him is Hillsong Young and Free with "Never Have I Ever":

Shalom,

Today's "Grace Inspirations" devotional by Joseph Prince is right instep with what we have been seeing as we continue through Kenneth E. Hagin's "Faith Food" devotional!

YOU WILL HAVE WHATEVER YOU SAY

Mark 11:23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

God says that we will have whatever we say. So whatever we want to have, we can say it and have it. Unfortunately, we often say what we don’t want to have.

For example, we say, “I don’t know why I go through my money so fast every month. Even when my boss gives me an increment, there never seems to be enough money.” And true enough, we see a lack of money at the end of every month.

You see, you will have whatever you say, good or bad. So why not change what you have been saying to, “From now on, I will have more than enough because Jesus became poor at the cross, so that I might be financially supplied—2 Corinthians 8:9. So lack be gone in Jesus’ name!”

Whatever mountain of difficulty you have, be it a mountain of debt or serious health condition, Jesus says, “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

Jesus highlights the importance of saying by mentioning the word “say” thrice, but the word “believe” only once. Our problem today is that there is more preaching on believing than saying. So the reason people find it hard to walk in faith is that they are not saying enough of the Word.

But if we would focus more on saying God’s Word, faith will come. That is how God quickened Abraham’s faith. He changed Abraham’s saying when He changed his name from Abram to Abraham, which means “father of many nations” (Genesis 17:5). From then on, whenever Abraham introduced himself, he would say, “Hi, my name is Father Of Many Nations.”

Beloved, declare your abundance, saying, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). Speak forth your healing, saying, “By Jesus’ stripes I am healed!” (see Isaiah 53:5). And you will have whatever you say!

AMEN! YOU can have what YOU say! And YOU are exactly who HE says you are! Here is Hillsong with that very song! "Who You Say I Am":

 Shalom,

Today's "Faith Food" devotional by Kenneth E. Hagin continues his teaching on saying/praying in faith!

Believing First

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. — MARK 9:23

There is just a shade of difference in what you believe when you say it, and when you pray it.

Look again at Mark 11:23 and 24. Jesus didn’t say, “Just believe.” He told us exactly what to believe. Faith by saying is: “. . . believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass . . .” (v. 23). When you are believing that those things which you say shall come to pass, then that means they haven’t come to pass yet. But keep on believing that those things you said — be sure you’ve said it — shall come to pass. I always keep saying right in the face of contradictory circumstances, “It shall come to pass.” What will happen then? “. . . He shall have whatsoever he saith.” Sooner or later you shall have it!

Faith by praying is: “. . . when ye pray, believe that ye receive them . . .” (v. 24). When you pray. Not after you pray. Not next week. But when you pray — that very moment — believe. Believe what? Believe that you receive your requests. Begin to say, “I believe that I receive.” And what will happen? “. . . Ye shall have them!”

Yes, the having will come, but the having doesn’t come first. Believing comes first; then the having follows.

Confession: I am a believer. When I pray, I believe that I receive. When I say, I believe that what I say shall come to pass.

AMEN! Here, again, is Hillsong with "Say The Word":

 Shalom,

Psalm 130 is another Song of Ascent sung by the people of Israel as they made their way to the Temple in Jerusalem!

A Song of [Ascents.

1 Out of the depths have I cried to You, O Lord. 2 Lord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. 3 If You, Lord, should keep account of and treat [us according to our] sins, O Lord, who could stand? 4 But there is forgiveness with You [just what man needs], that You may be reverently feared and worshiped. 5 I wait for the Lord, I expectantly wait, and in His word do I hope. 6 I am looking and waiting for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, I say, more than watchmen for the morning. 7 O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is mercy and loving-kindness, and with Him is plenteous redemption. 8 And He will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.

They were calling on the LORD Who had rescued them from slavery in Egypt and from every other evil thing! WE have an even BETTER Covenant than they had! WE should be singing HIS praises even more than they did! Every time you come into His presence, do so with praise, thanksgiving and worship! HE deserves if and YOU will benefit tremendously from it!  Shalom,

Today's "From Faith To Faith" devotional by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland another great one!

The Hidden Things of God

Blessed art thou...for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 16:17

Remember when you went to school and learned your ABCs? You learned them by using your five senses and your logical abilities to gather information and sort it out. That kind of knowledge is called natural knowledge and it's the only kind most people know anything about.

But in the kingdom of God, there's another kind of knowing. One that works its way from the inside out instead of from the outside in. It's called revelation knowledge.

Jesus spoke about this kind of knowledge in Matthew 16. He'd just asked the disciples, "Who do you say I am?" Peter had answered Him by declaring, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

"Blessed are you, Simon," Jesus responded, "because flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father which is in heaven."

In other words, Jesus was saying, "Peter, you didn't learn this information through your physical senses. You received it another way. You received it directly from God."

If you've ever had a revelation like that, you know that when it comes, it changes things. It makes you see old things in an entirely new light. It gives you such unshakable confidence that, as Jesus said to Peter, "The gates of hell can't prevail against you."

But revelations like that don't come easily. You have to meditate the Word and search the Spirit of God for them because they are "hidden" in Him. The Bible says God has hidden His wisdom for the saints (1 Corinthians 2:7-9). Notice, He's hidden it for you, not from you. He wants you to have it.

Don't think, however, that God is just going to drop great revelations into your lap while you're watching television. You have to seek Him.

If you're hungry for revelation knowledge, get yourself in a position to receive it by meditating the Word, praying and fellowshiping with the Lord. Begin to receive those revelations from Him. It's the most exciting kind of learning there is.

AMEN! There are no 'shortcuts' for meditating on the Word of God! Meditate  until it becomes so real to you that doubt has no place. It takes a diligent commitment to go purposefully after the WORD! And remember that GOD HIMSELF will teach you, by His Spirit, so that you can walk in obedience to it! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Your Word":

 Shalom,

Psalm 128:1-2:

1 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is everyone who fears, reveres, and worships the Lord, who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments. 2 For you shall eat [the fruit] of the labor of your hands; happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) shall you be, and it shall be well with you.

The most important exhortation that I can give you today is THIS! Put GOD and HIS WORD first place in your life each and every day and you will never lack Wisdom iin every area! Spend time in intimate fellowship with Him. refuse to be moved by the words and ways of the world! Refuse to give any place to the foul spirit of fear! GOD is doing exactly what He said He would do! YOU can do exactly what HE SAID you can do! Here is Hillsong again with "Who You Say I Am":

 Shalom,

Today's Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan has us reading Psalm 127 and verses 1-2 tell us just what our mindset should be as we wait for GOD to intervene in our elections!

A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon.

1 Except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to take rest late, to eat the bread of [anxious] toil—for He gives [blessings] to His beloved in sleep.

Almighty God created the United States of America for HIS eternal purposes! HE is actively exposing and disposing of the extreme evil that has slowly and deceptively entrenched itself in our nation. BUT, GOD's people, who are called by HIS NAME, have humbled themselves and prayed and HE HAS HEARD and is in the process of HEALING OUR LAND! The evil WILL be ROOTED out and Godliness WILL PREVAIL! He is NOT finished with us yet and THE BEST IS YET TO COME! I would encourage you to stop listening to the news and the evil reports and begin to focus on the high praises of our GLORIOUS GOD! The enemy will run in terror, the evil ones will be removed from office and the Kingdom of God will FLOURISH! HALLELUJAH! Here is an older song that we used to sing many years ago that is fitting and proper for such a time as this! "Mighty Warrior" by Integrity Hosanna Music:

 Shalom,

We read Psalm 126 in today's Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan and I really like this from The Passion Translation!

A song of the stairway
It was like a dream come true

when you freed us from our bondage and brought us back to Zion!
We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness.
We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise.
All the nations saw it and joined in, saying,
“The Lord has done great miracles for them!”
Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed!
Now, Lord, do it again! Restore us to our former glory!
May streams of your refreshing flow over us
until our dry hearts are drenched again.
Those who sow their tears as seeds
will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee.
They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow,

but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness
as they bring back armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing!

Verse 2 is my favorite! Laughing for joy and overflowing with gladness is exactly how JESUS wants us to live this life! Why? Because 'the nations' will see and they will want to join in! They will WANT to KNOW our GOD! Then HE will be able to do mighty miracles, drawing even more people to Himself! HALLELUJAH! Then, in today's Bible Reading PLan, we find Nicodemus learning that 'you must be born again' in John 3:3 and THIS great GOOD NEWS in John 3:15-18:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

AMEN! There IS no greater love than THIS! BELIEVE and RECEIVE His great love for yourself, and then share HIM with others! THAT is why we are here! Ambassadors of Heaven to a lost world! Here is Hillsong Young and Free with "Lord Send Revivial":

 Shalom,

Today's "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers is one that you do not want ot miss!

The Authority of Truth

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. —James 4:8

It is essential that you give people the opportunity to act on the truth of God. The responsibility must be left with the individual— you cannot act for him. It must be his own deliberate act, but the evangelical message should always lead him to action. Refusing to act leaves a person paralyzed, exactly where he was previously. But once he acts, he is never the same. It is the apparent folly of the truth that stands in the way of hundreds who have been convicted by the Spirit of God. Once I press myself into action, I immediately begin to live. Anything less is merely existing. The moments I truly live are the moments when I act with my entire will.

When a truth of God is brought home to your soul, never allow it to pass without acting on it internally in your will, not necessarily externally in your physical life. Record it with ink and with blood— work it into your life. The weakest saint who transacts business with Jesus Christ is liberated the second he acts and God’s almighty power is available on his behalf. We come up to the truth of God, confess we are wrong, but go back again. Then we approach it again and turn back, until we finally learn we have no business going back. When we are confronted with such a word of truth from our redeeming Lord, we must move directly to transact business with Him. “Come to Me…” (Matthew 11:28). His word come means “to act.” Yet the last thing we want to do is come. But everyone who does come knows that, at that very moment, the supernatural power of the life of God invades him. The dominating power of the world, the flesh, and the devil is now paralyzed; not by your act, but because your act has joined you to God and tapped you in to His redemptive power.

James 1:22 says this:

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

The answer is to study the Word. Meditate on the Word until it becomes real. Act on the Word. Receive the results and the rewards for our obedience to the Word! It is ALL about GOD and HIS WORD! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Your Word":

 Shalom,

Today I want to share Andrew Womack's devotional!

Chosen Before Creation

John 17:24 'Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.'

God the Father had the plan of salvation worked out before He even created the world. Most of us would not have created the world and man if we knew the heartache and terrible sacrifice it would cost. But God is not man. In His judgment (which is the correct judgment) the prize was worth the cost.

We were chosen in Christ before the world began. The Lord did not choose us by our merit, but solely by our acceptance of Christ which His foreknowledge allowed Him to do before the foundation of the world. In the strictest sense, we were not personally chosen, but Christ was chosen and all those who are 'in Christ' partake of His being chosen by His Father. Just as we are the beneficiaries of the covenant between God the Father and His Son Jesus, so we are chosen because we chose God's chosen, i.e. Christ. The Father would no more reject us than He would reject Jesus because we are accepted by the Father through Christ.

None of us can claim that we are without blame in the sight of men because man looks on the outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7) and all of us have sinned (Romans 3:23). But the Lord looks on our born-again spirit which has been regenerated in Christ and He sees us holy and without blame.

If you look at any color through a red glass, that color becomes red. The same thing would happen if you looked through a green glass. Everything would become green. In a similar way, God looks at us through Christ and everything in our life becomes covered by the blood of Jesus. We are holy and without blame before Him because of His love expressed through His Son.

AMEN! Learn to see yourself the way GOD sees you! You ARE who HE says you are and you can DO what HE says you can do! Here is Hillsong with "Who You Say I Am":

Shalom in Him!
