Today we read Mark 10 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan. I want to especially look at verses 5-9 today:
5 But Jesus said to them, Because of your hardness of heart [your condition of insensibility to the call of God] he wrote you this precept in your Law. 6 But from the beginning of creation God made them male and female. 7 For this reason a man shall leave [behind] his father and his mother and be joined to his wife and cleave closely to her permanently, 8 And the two shall become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has united (joined together), let not man separate or divide.
It is abundantly clear in these verses, especially verses 6 & 7, that God made mankind to be EITHER male or female, and there is no question about it! No, there are NOT 'any number of genders'. There are only 2, and they are genetically identifiable through our DNA. Every person is born EITHER as a male or as a female! You CANNOT change your gender through surgery, hormone therapy or any other type of procedure. All that you can do with these things is mutilate your body and completely mess up your God-given mind and intelligence! It is time to stop spreading false ideas and get back to what the Word of God has to say about any and every subject! After all, JESUS said it best when He said THIS in John 17:17:
17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.
God's Word is the only real TRUTH, which makes anything contrary to it nothing but a lie! AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Your Word":
