Yesterday's reading in Psalms told us how to go about praising the Lord. Today's, Psalm 150, tells us, again, how, where and why and then leaves us no doubt about WHO is to do this!
1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the heavens of His power! 2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to the abundance of His greatness! 3 Praise Him with trumpet sound; praise Him with lute and harp! 4 Praise Him with tambourine and [single or group] dance; praise Him with stringed and wind instruments or flutes! 5 Praise Him with resounding cymbals; praise Him with loud clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
So WHO is to praise the LORD? EVERYTHING breathing! Most important to me? I am to praise the LORD! YOU are to praise the LORD! Let's continue to praise Him, NOT simply because He tells us to, but because we WANT to! AMEN! We cannot out-give God in any area, but we CAN give Him our whole hearts in surrender to His will and in praise, thanksgiving and worship! What will we receive in return? Look at John 10:10:
10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
Amen! THAT is the Father's heart towards us! EXPECT good things to pour into your life, and begin to thank Him NOW for them! That is faith in operation! Here is Hillsong United with "I Surrender":
Shalom in Him!
