Proverbs 22:4 says this:

4 The reward of humility and the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.

Understand that humility is NOT thinking lowly of yourself, but rather not thinking too highly of your natural self! Remember that without HIM, we are nothing! Also remember that every GOOD thing about us is from HIM! This will help you to maintain a humble attitude. Now add to that humble understanding and appreciation of the work that HE has done in you the "worshipful fear of the LORD" (deep reverence and respect and awe for WHO He is and what He's done)! The promised result is that we will receive the reward of riches, which is wealth; honor, which is the Hebrew word "kabowd", which is also translated as "glory" and means: weight, splendor, copiousness, abundance, and dignity; and life, which refers to our natural life that will be long on the earth by obeying this Word! God's Word is filled with promises made to us and the conditions that are required to receive the promise.
