I love that in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan we read all of the Psalms and Proverbs twice through. I never fail to see new things every time we go through them! In Proverbs 10 for today, this verse, from the Amplified Bible, really stood out as one that we MUST realize in order to be really effective in our individual ministries of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)! Proverbs 10:17:
17 He who heeds instruction and correction is [not only himself] in the way of life [but also] is a way of life for others. And he who neglects or refuses reproof [not only himself] goes astray [but also] causes to err and is a path toward ruin for others. AMP
The Word of God carries the Anointing of God because He IS the Living Word (John 1:1)! But we will be much more effective ministers of that Word when we are actually living it! Our lives DO affect others! That's why we are told in 2 Corinthians 3:2 that WE are epistles that are being read by others!
2 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: KJV
The life you live should reflect HIS life in every situation! When we LIVE the Word, HE has something to confirm with signs, wonders and miracles that get the attention of the lost and draw them to HIM! When we LIVE the Word, we don't have to try so hard to preach it! Actions speak, so make yours look like HIS! AMEN! Here is Hillsong London with "Lord Of All":
