Shalom,

We read Psalm 13 in our Spoken Word Bible Reading Plan for today and verses 5-6 are what I choose to be my response no matter what I may be facing!
But I have trusted, leaned on, and been confident in Your mercy and loving-kindness; my heart shall rejoice and be in high spirits in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.

No matter what we may be going through, if we keep this attitude, then we will be just like David when he faced the giant after having reminded himself about his past victories over the bear and the lion! Praise and worship will ALWAYS get our soul settled on the right attiude for victory! Then we read Matthew 13 and the parable of the sower! Verse 8 speaks of the seed falling on good soil and what the results are.

Other seeds fell on good soil, and yielded grain—some a hundred times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some thirty.

The difference in the seed producing depended on the condition of the soil that it was planted in. When JESUS explains the parable to His disciples He says this first to show them the priceless privelege that they had to be able to know and understand the Word in verses 12-13:
12 For whoever has [spiritual knowledge], to him will more be given and he will be furnished richly so that he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 13 This is the reason that I speak to them in parables: because having the power of seeing, they do not see; and having the power of hearing, they do not hear, nor do they grasp and understand.

JESUS went on to explain the parable to His disciples, showing the great significance of the quality of the soil in verse 23:

23 As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it; he indeed bears fruit and yields in one case a hundred times as much as was sown, in another sixty times as much, and in another thirty.
The Word of God is the seed that we sow into our lives. The soil refers to the condition of our souls that receive that Word! If we are renewing our minds daily with the Word of God, being a DOER of the Word by acting on what we learn, and spending time in intimate fellowship with our Teacher, Holy Spirit, then we will have great understanding of the Word so that we CAN act on it, getting the results in our lives that the Word promises! See to the condition of YOUR soil and you will never have to wonder what God's will is. AMEN! Here is Hillsong with "Your Word":

Shalom in Him!
