Shalom,

Today I want to share Kenneth E. Hagin's "Faith Food":

The Good

"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land" (Isaiah 1:19).

If you are willing and obedient, it is God's will that you have the best. (Of course, you can't walk in disobedience and enjoy the good things of God.)

God is not a miser or a tightwad. And He didn't put everything here in this world for the devil and his crowd to enjoy.

Some people have the idea that if you're a Christian, you should never have anything, financially or materially. They believe that you should go through life poor and beaten down.

But Jesus said, "If ye then, being evil and natural, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" (Matthew 7:11).

Oh, God wants to give us good gifts! He wants us to have the best! He wants us to prosper and have the good things of this life! But we must cooperate with Him.

Confession: I am willing to love and serve God my Father. I am obedient to walk in the light of His Word, His will. Therefore, I shall eat the good of the land. And with confidence I can pray for the good things in life, because it is my Father's will that I have them.
Just in case you are tempted to doubt that God ALWAYS desires the very best for His people, look at these Scriptures: John 10:10, 3 John 2, Philippians 4:19:

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].

19 And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

NEVER believe the lies of the enemy over the TRUTH of the Word of God! Our God is greatly moved with compassion towards us, but He will NOT break His own Word! Find out what the Word of God says belongs to you, and then walk in it with excited boldness and confidence that our God is NOT a man, that He should ever lie to us! AMEN! If He said it, then He meant it, every Word! AMEN! Here is Hillsong Worship with "Say The Word" again, because it is SO appropriate":

Shalom in Him!
