Shalom,

We've already looked at the fact that God is on our side and that WE need to make the choice to be on HIS side by obeying the Word and putting Him first place. Today I want to look at Psalm 124:6-8:

6 Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth! 7 We are like a bird escaped from the  snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped! 8 Our help is in the Name of the LORD, Who made Heaven and earth.

Not only has He delivered us from the snare, or trap, that the enemy had laid for us, but He BROKE the trap! The enemy has no authority over us at all! ALL authority, in Heaven and earth, has been given to Jesus, and HE has given it to us to use in His Name (Matthew 28:18-20 - Amplified)! Remember that HIS Name is above every name that is named (Philippians2:9)!  USE IT!

John 1:11-12:

11 He came to that which belonged to Him [ to His own -- His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him. But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His Name --

It never ceases to amaze me that many of the very people who were waiting and waiting for their promised Messiah, actually missed Him when He came! They were expecting someone different! If they had actually known the Scriptures they were reading, they would have recognized Him! The prophecies having to do with Messiah are very clearly fulfilled in Yeshua (Jesus)! Eventually, though, they WILL see Him clearly! I pray that they will see while they still have time! AMEN! The Truth about Jesus is found in verse 14:

14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.

He came to pay the price for sin so that we could have eternal LIFE! THANK YOU, JESUS!

In Ezekiel 15-16 God explains what Israel had done against His Word. He starts back at the beginning of His relationship with them and covers His history with them. He called them, anointed them, delivered them, prospered them, covenanted with them, and yet they STILL turned their back on Him to serve other gods, who are NOT gods at all! They wanted to be like other nations, even though they had the very best of everything! God was forced, by their idolatry, to give them over to be taken captive so that He could preserve them! Ezekiel 16:60:

60 Nevertheless, I will [earnestly] remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth and I will establish with you an everlasting covenant.

God will NEVER forget His covenants! Temporary captivity, in order to preserve them from falling into total wickedness, did NOT wipe out His covenant with the nation of Israel! Nothing can! Verses 62-63:

62 And I will establish My covenant with you, and you shall know (understand and realize) that I am the LORD, 63 That you may [earnestly] remember and be ashamed and confounded and never open your mouth again because of your shame, when I have forgiven you all that you have done, says the Lord GOD.

There WILL be a day, soon and very soon, when the Jewish people will know, recognize and understand that their Messiah has already come and they missed Him! Then they will flock to Him and make Him their Lord and Saviour! Amen!

Shalom in Him!
